    I’m taking the Imat and can you tell me what’s the most sos chapters to study for imat, I have only 2 weeks to do a revision and idk what are the main and most repeated topics… thank you for your time !

    • @the_stethoscope
      @the_stethoscope  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure! Here are some key topics to focus on for each subject:
      - Biology: Cell structure and function, genetics, human anatomy and physiology.
      - Chemistry: Atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions and stoichiometry.
      - Physics: Mechanics, electricity and magnetism, waves and optics.
      - Mathematics: Algebra, geometry, calculus, probability and statistics.
      Remember to prioritize these topics based on your strengths and weaknesses. Don't forget to practice with sample questions and review any areas where you need more clarification.

    In the 3rd question discussed in this video it is mentioned that we have to assume that no mutations occur right? So I had this doubt like if no mutations were to occur during the use of stem cell therapy how would that increase the risk of developing cancer?

    • @the_stethoscope
      @the_stethoscope  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If we assume that no mutations occur during the use of stem cell therapy, it would generally reduce the risk of developing cancer compared to scenarios where mutations do occur. Mutations in cells can lead to uncontrolled growth and division, which is a hallmark of cancer. Therefore, if the stem cell therapy is performed without introducing any harmful mutations, the risk of cancer development from the therapy itself would be lower. However, it's essential to note that other factors unrelated to mutations, such as the selection of inappropriate stem cells or other complications, can still pose risks, but mutation-induced cancer would be less likely in this specific context.
