That bass player was fantastic!
is maybe
@@rolandfaucon1560be quiet, cretin.
Yes playing rhythm on bass to fill in.
Such a shame you cant see bands like this anymore in pubs in the uk, The good old days are over and god bless lee you was fukin brilliant.
Fond memories of this being played at the Hell's Angels Kent custom show. What a night that was
Just a great band, that solo is a blast and I love Lee's sweaty dirty suit. The Count Bishops did quite a few gigs with these guys and apart from being a great band and showmen they were great company. This is a great example of what we've lost, a sense of the ridiculous and a great sense of humour. Everything is so "serious" nowadays, it seems we have forgotten how to laugh at ourselves and just have fun.
Rumour has it that their vauxhall broke down on the way to the gig...!!
@@cliffmeans6986 We all have plenty of those experiences mate, when you can only afford a rattling junker it's just normal, I've lost count of the number of "road incidents" I've suffered. I often wonder how I was lucky enough to get through it alive.
the best rock and roll band ever...
Without a doubt. Putaquepariumente do caralho!
Lee. More Lee. This man rocks them all. OK, btw: Peter Wolf playing in the same league. But than? then??
Ughhh yes! The best accident I ever stumbled upon
Utterly great band. So glad I got to see them live a few times.
I just saw these guys a few years ago from surfing on youtube, I would have loved to saw these guys live, must have been great shows.
This is music history!
Rock n Roll at its finest!
Thish is truth!
The 'mechanic in a suit' image of Brilleaux was as original then as it would be today but ONLY if he could don those 'grubby' suits again. It belongs to him and is how we remember him. Brilliant image, brilliant voice.
And not to forget his absolutely brilliant, frantic harmonica playing.
@@hereforthemusic literally was gonna say that
@SMC Gmail You should say that you'd try to... greetings from Spain.
Stay out of my yard though!!!
HE was GREAT in Slide an the. Harp & Harmomica too g
R.I.P Wilko! 1:26 ! Take a bow. Best 1 note solo in rock n roll.
Wilko was truly a one off...crazy but brilliant at it
This is strenth of pure RNR
one of the best live bands i have ever had the enjoyment to see over 30 time's
deco good for you , thats got to be a record ? i guess you were on first name terms lolx
lucky lucky guy. but also clever guy.
@@oughtonoughton2634 wel done🤙🏻🤙🏻💥💥🙃🙃
Wilko was an overlooked and underrated gee-tar player, lol. RIP dude.
Thats 4 damned sure. RIP Mr. Wilko Johnson.
Dr Feelgood was full steam ahead bluesrock. Simple as that.
Great memories from my happy youth in Denmark, in the 70s.
Great upload, thanks mate
The best guitarsolo ever!
Sådan!
Hej Gert
Lad os ses snart - det er hundrede år siden!
:)
LO
Lars Ole Nielsen Første gang jeg ser danskere på en Feelgood video :) godt at se.
Ja. Wilko var den bedste guitarist de havde. Han er "Still going strong"
Spot on
Wilko is just something else. F$@king brilliant.
Tolle Stimme und ein noch besserer Bassplayer. Weltklasse
This is truly amazing stuff . Brilliant band . Doesn't get any better than that.
Indubitably the greatest guitar solo EVER!!
Less is more. The repeated use of the tonic and minor 7th is so economical against the rock-steady I, IV, and V chords.
If I'm not mistaken Wilco did that whole interlude playing just one string on the guitar.
tension, performance and sweat wring everything out of that 1 note solo. genius.
I love Dr. Feelgood....!!!
This was The Feelgoods at their sweaty brilliant best.recorded at the last minute by the record co to capture the unbelievable stage antics of Lee+Wilco.
Recorded live at The Kursaal Southend, apart from "Orange Festival"probably the best live show they(or anybody)did.
I had the privilege to be their lighting person for most of the early years(wilco),,incl "The Naughty Rhytms Tour.
Have a feast and play the whole show,,entitled "going back home".Supermick.
Now that's a guitar solo!
What a most splendid band ,, these guys are utter magic , i adore this version of a fab 60s classic ,,,Willko is a tremendous asset to the band lol x
He wrote all their original material when he was with them.
RIP Wilko.. u r a f... legend!
ABSOLUTELY!
RIP. Lee also. Dr Feelgood Was Many Times In Finland.
Wish I'd seen these guys live...
I have . They are just pure energy.
Me too. They played one show in America, one, they opened for KISS. Who I say, Who, would open for Kiss, they must have been drunk. . I think they felt very dejected. never to return again. Bad timing, bad karma or what? Sure, would have like to seen them.
Wow what an outstanding band!
Dynamite stuff.
GOOD HONEST ROCK'N'ROLL
My favourite Doctor feel good song. Yes the solo great it just builds up then released back to the beat.
+John McKevitt Pretty close call, I reckon you are right. And Wilko with that truly explosive solo - like a battering ram.
What a fine, fine band, and Mr. Truly Cool - Lee Brillo.
Best Pub rock band ever R.I.P Lee Brilleaux
Classic Wilko, I love!
El anfetaminico Wil, el guisquero Lee y la base ritmica de Sparko y The Big.......... dos veces los disfrute........
Rock In Power Wilco.
Сильнейшие рокеры суперская группа рок 🎸 навсегда
Raggarrock! Get flashbacks from early 70'ies and german Tivoli (Kirmis). Just great rock'n blues. Great performance, too!
Totally unknown on this side of the pond. Very few here in the states ever heard of them. From what I understand, they did one show only in Detroit Michigan, opening for Kiss (say what?) Were so dejected, they left never to return again. What a pity, really.
Charisma....by the bucketload
Wilko. The only guitar player whose guitar leads suffered from metal fatigue!
Wow thought the guitar solo was speeded up !! That’s insane man I love it , he feels that tune big time ❤️❤️👍
wilco is the best rythm guitar player ever.
Unbelievable. Top-class!
best vocal ever...
Adoro está banda
This was sooo good!
Uno de los conciertos en directo que más disfruté en el autódromo de Lasarte
saw them live many years ago.., greeaaatt!!!
I saw em a lot but particularly at The Cliff Pavilion in South End On Sea near Canvey. Often wonder if this is the same gig in vid, shared a slug of whiskey on stage with Brillo that night
wow!!!! love them, i listen to them cause of my father, theyre not so known here in argentina...but what a band!
Lee Brilleaux died on 7th April 1994 (2 day's after Kurt Cobain ) he was age 41
I wonder where Stig is now. The guy whose bass I’m playing and appears very briefly side stage. He was a pleasure to work with and a great Surgeons supporter. I think our Scunthorpe Baths gigs were when we met. Jont.
superbe R.I.P Lee
love the suit
I think Lee bought it from Oxfam
@@Chancer02 i would love to wash Lees clothes however it would take some pure value off him , it adds to his importance lol xx ps What a splendid band xx
Seen the so called dr feelgood a few years ago,( not an original member in the band) they were good enough.but living of the memory of the real muscians in the feelgoods.so sad in this day an age THAT so called musician milking 1 of the BEST band from the 70s,if not the BEST,i know people will say theyre keeping the music alive but it is what it is.
Pjesma je mrak🤩🤩
That's how you do it!!!!!!
News of Wilko's passing hurts BAD. This is up there with Joe Strummer's death.
This is so good!
It's because of those guys that however punk I play, I wear a suit onstage
Yeah, but a dirty sweat stained one.
Brilliant just what I needed ;
mucha banda..2024..
Those filthy suits... God bless Lee. Superb front man. The alter ego of Wilko.
Brilliant! By the look of that suit, it was the Naughty Rhythms tour 1975. I saw them at Sheffield city hall, with Kokomo and red hot chilli peppers. Or was it chilli willie and the red hot peppers?? I forget... it was hot anyway.
Wilko only knows one riff but boy, what a riff!
One riff per song. Every single one a classic.
wilko was magic.
The coasters with oomph...
Brill band rip lee
Greathhhhhh!
Wilko was a direct influence on Paul Weller. Thoroughly entertaining band!
RIP Wilko sadly missed 🥲
hell ya, the best ever. my fav

RIP Wilko Johnson
he and elvis!!
Best front man I ever sore..... except maybe Cyclone Eddie
Love when wilco goes nuts
Bestial!!
R.I.P Wilko
Carlesburg dont do one note guitar solos ... but
Lee looks like he spent the night in the back of a Ford Transit😆
He probably did
More likely a Ford Fiesta 😁
They make all the "big name" bands lookem like cadavers.
That's how you do it kids.....
Wilko is a gift from the Lord @ 1:26
Wilco on top form!!
Šampioni
Lee is at the top wilko too
These guys are utter magic , ive adored them since their beginning ,,,,,x until eternity lol to all fans xx

Anyone got a link for the tab to Wilko's solo?
Stay out of my yard though!!!
Fu......g WILKOOOOOOOOOOOO
If i were to play this bassline, which fret and strings should i play on? Seem to be an easy one but still fuckin groovy..
+Galet Nice After 7 months of hard playing (not really) i figured out its a 12 bar blues in G
Lol, Lee looks like he just got out of a skip😂
Pizza🍕🍕🍕
No way this was 2005, dude. Looks like '76 or '77.
I guess you missed the word "Remaster"
Wouldn't like lee as my wing man
Scruffy fucka Looks like he's been out tattin all day
But I love these guys and they are all total legends peace brothers
The lead singer’s suit is perfectly disheveled.
The suit was white when he started a tour.
Lmao
