Correction: should not be, according to all logic, reasoning and the plain wording and intent of the US Constitution, but SCOTUS for now says "it depends".
The problem is that this Republic SCOTUS is more beholden to Trump than the Constitution and the country.
Although there are 4 charges, it only takes a single charge to be found guilty to send Trump away.
When I first started watching Harry, I thought he talked so slowly, now I understand why. Getting your head round the intricacies of the legal arguments needs time, especially for those of us not trained in this field. I do enjoy being able to understand how it all works and appreciate his full explanations. Since the Constitution, in Article II Section 3, says "[the President] shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed..." it seems to me that any illegal action (i.e. in _violation_ of the law) by the President would - by definition - _NOT_ be an official act. But that's just me, reading the text of the Constitution; what do I know?
