I would love a ZX10. But I'm probably going to go with the zx14r.

Literbikes are fun, but totally unnecessary... You have a bike that does a legit 155mph on a good day. How much faster do you need to go? Straight line speeds on the interstate will get boring. And going faster will just get you in a grave, or in prison sooner or later. I say stay on the 636 and find some better roads to ride. Find a place with turns, or do track days, and put that bike in the environment that it was designed for.
Any knucklehead can pin the throttle and hang on going down a wide, flat highway... In the twisties is where the fun is at, and its where a 600 shines... There is a saying, straights are for fast bikes, but turns are for fast riders. Anyone can buy a fast bike, but not everyone can be a fast rider. Get that bike in its element and see if you really think you need to upgrade... In a tight twisty road, the 1000 won't be any faster than the 600.

I don't know I think most 600s are capable of hitting 160. I enjoy doing it all. Twisties, track and performance highway riding. I just love to ride. I want a faster bike because I enjoy speed and I'm a motorcycle enthusiast. I'm considering a ZX-14r or a Hayabusa. I don't want just another super sport.

@@imthatguy4011 160mph is pushing it on a 600. Remember the speedo error is 5-8% high on average... But that aside, the big bikes are fun... I sold my ZX14R and MT-10 and got a 2024 Ducati Streetfighter V2...
The Busa has a much better electronics package than the ZX14r, which doesn't even have a quickshifter... But both are fast and fun, but they are hefty in the turns. We are talking 150lbs heavier than your 600, easily... That really does impact handling.
A cool bike you might want to check out is the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100rr. Gives you a nice comfortable position, brilliant V4 sound, and enough fairing and wind protection to still do high speed stuff... Amazing all around bike for touring, shredding mountain roads and track days.... it does everything...

Yeah, but you made a good point the maintenance on the Aprilia it's going to be too expensive. I tried out the Hayabusa and I loved it. I have not yet ridden the zx-14r.... But I'm sure I would love it just as much. It's a Kawasaki how can I not.

@@imthatguy4011 I enjoyed my ZX14R, but if I was gonna do it again I would be the Busa. The 14 is an amazing bike, but its basically a 2012 model... It has no modern stuff on it, and in 2024, I feel like it should.
