Great review Steve. Fortunately for me the Qm851g built in speakers are loud enough for me. I’m pretty impressed with the speakers it has. And wow! Why so many wires for a speakers.
I picked up the Q85H to go with my 98 QM8 as well. I think they both work pretty well together. You can adjust the audio output so that you can sound coming from the soundbar and the TV. I dig it. I want to try running AI Sonic from different positions on my couch and see if I notice any discernible differences.
I have Samsung so I stay in the Samsung ecosystem. What you describe sounds similar to Samsungs Q-Symphony. Nice sound but not earth shattering as the full soundbar with woofer sound.
I know this is a 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos soundbar. But i was wondering if its a big upgrade from the Hisense 5.1.2 AX5120G Dolby Atmos soundbar that Walmart has on sale for black Friday 2 years ago. Im thinking about getting the one you reviewed in your video. I do have a TCL Roku QLED TV. Thanks.
These tvs imo have petty good speakers once you enable dolby Atmos it makes a huge difference, I play on Xbox and playstation when I enable dolby Atmos I can definitely tell a difference the audio sounds a lot louder and more clear and this is using the base tv speakers.
@TechSteve No headphones no audio system I use the tv speakers some tvs now a days have Dolby Atmos in their tvs. I go into my ps5 and Xbox settings enable dolby Atmos and yeah there's definitely a difference I bet with a audio system it's even better but even just using the tv speakers I'm impressed.
@tonygicz8 just so you know it impossible to get dolby atmos without rear field, its simulated www.dolby.com/siteassets/technologies/dolby-atmos/atmos-installation-guidelines-121318_r3.1.pdf
Do you happen to know how much of a difference the Q75H is? I pre-ordered the QM6K that comes with it and have been windering how it will sound. I've never had a sound bar before.
Correct me if I am wrong Steve but generally a 7.1.4 dolby atmos system would refer to 7 channels for surround (R&L front, R&L side and R&L rear surrounds including 1 center = 7), 1 subwoofer and 4 atmos height speakers.
You are right 7.1.4 consists of front right centre front left wide front wide left rear right and rear left surround one sub and front top left surround front top right surround rear left top surround rear right top surround
Hey man. You seem cool. But if you're gonna review things you need to get a bit educated on what ur reviewing. You said there's 7 speakers in the front and 4 in the back because it said it was a 7.1.4 system.... That's not what that means. Again. Not trying to hate, just that if you don't know what ur saying then ur just relaying false information. I think as a reviewer you should want you and ur review to be reputable. Hope ur not offended
I’m not offended. I know it simulate this diagram www.dolby.com/about/support/guide/speaker-setup-guides/7.1.4-overhead-speaker-setup-guide I’m not trying to be super technical on my videos anymore but i sold audio for 7 years.
That's an expensive set up. For most people a 2.1 soundbar with a standalone subwoofer is fine. I have Samsung soundbar system gives me movie theater sound on blurays and Netflix, Prime Video etc. Just $167 I bought it for on Black Friday. Only regular DVDs sound ordinary. Bluray and stream services sound cinematic.

Thanks Steve for taking the time to do a review on a soundbar system. Love seeing audio reviews.
Just had the Q6310 delivered today that I got for $130cad super stoked to try it out.
Nicely well layed out Video as usual 👌 👍 Steve

Nice review bro. Ive been thinking about upgrading, but my 20 year old 5.1 Sony system kicks ass💯
Maybe it’s time
@TechSteve maybe so....that sounds Nice
Great review Steve. Fortunately for me the Qm851g built in speakers are loud enough for me. I’m pretty impressed with the speakers it has.

Great unboxing and great review
Great video very informative thank you for letting us know you are very great at what you do

Once programmed you can always turn off if you don’t like it

hey man i’ve seen your video about the sony x85k and it says is unavailable do you know why ?
I'm concerned that the piano finish will reflect a lot of light from the TV.
Great review, do you think you could do the new Hisense Saturn system🙏
It’s was just announced at CES ?
I know this is a 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos soundbar. But i was wondering if its a big upgrade from the Hisense 5.1.2 AX5120G Dolby Atmos soundbar that Walmart has on sale for black Friday 2 years ago. Im thinking about getting the one you reviewed in your video. I do have a TCL Roku QLED TV. Thanks.
To be honest, I never seen that one
@@TechSteve is this TCL a good brand though?

Did you listen on headphones or audio system?

@TechSteve interesting but Some TVs have Dolby Atmos built in and I can definitely notice a difference when enabled it's obvious.
Hello Steve 😊
Yo
Can you maybe upload a short video on music test?
Probably no phone speakers it’s not gonna be the same as just listen to live
Hi, ultimena nova s90 or tcl Q85H? Thx
Can you review the Tcl S55h soundbar? I can find any reviews at all anywhere
I don’t have one
Do you happen to know how much of a difference the Q75H is? I pre-ordered the QM6K that comes with it and have been windering how it will sound. I've never had a sound bar before.
No sure i only have this one

It varies, not on this system. 4 speakers on the 2 rear speakers. It’s not a audiophile dystem
You are right 7.1.4 consists of front right centre front left wide front wide left rear right and rear left surround one sub and front top left surround front top right surround rear left top surround rear right top surround
Hello Steve
Yo
Is sound good the sound bar but JBL has more and deeper low bass and powerful bass and the sound bar
How much is it
