I will definitely stay subscribed! I very much find this turn of events surprising & not at all relatable in a personal way. I have never been of any religious faith but always been a deeply spiritual person. I do relate to that our spiritual growth journey changes throughout our lives & can take us to places we would not have expected. I am interested to see what you decide to share in the future! I have always treasured the time we shared tea in Seattle about 20 years ago, it was a sweet moment in time for me. This is Cara/Unity from Portland. Wishing you the very best of life to come!
I've weathered my fair share of spiritual curveballs also. I've always found Catholicism fascinating, I even envied friends who went to Catholic private school!@@themysteriousdomain8249
Christianity is, as Arthur Machen said, ' the last and greatest of the Mystery-Religions'. As a fellow expatriate from occultism, witchcraft, gnosticism etc. I reverted/converted to traditional Christianity (Anglo-Catholic) on the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin in 2010 and received Confirmation/Chrismation. I serve as acolyte in the sanctuary at Mass several times each month as thurifer, taper-bearer and sometimes assist the priest in administering the Blessed Sacraments. When bearing the Chalice and the Precious Blood I always meditate deeply on the Mystery of the Sanc-Grail. I'm totally immersed in the spiritual worldview of Gothic Mediaeval Christendom, its traditional arts and sacred sciences. Good wishes on your epiphanic calling to the Light of Christ! Pax Vobiscum ✝️
As an afterthought I think we should bear in mind that the Tarot is an authentic artefact of the Catholic High Middle Ages and encapsulates that spiritual worldview. That's to say the traditional Tarot is integrally Christian in nature anyway...it depicts the Four Last Things of Catholic Christian eschatology (Death, Judgment, Heaven, and Hell), the four Cardinal Virtues expounded upon by St Thomas Aquinas and so forth. Tarot is a mediaeval Catholic 'Imago Mundi' and symbolic Salvation-cycle.
Are you the same Nigel Jackson that wrote lots of books and made tarot decks. I love your work but I had to sell them all for Our Lord Jesus to be with me. I wondered what happened to you, if you're the same person. If so. I'm so happy for you! I can't find a traditional Latin mass where I live so I go to the Benedictine cathedral. I'm looking for the old mass I grew up in.
@@NigelJackson I know this is true, but I am aware that tarot is used for a lot of dark things and worry that using it brings you into alignment with all tarot useres. I suppose its like when we align our prayers with all the churches throughoutthe world.
@@themysteriousdomainmoviepalace And that is a very valid point you make. Tarot, in its present state and under the circumstances and atmosphere of this age, can become a vehicle for dubious energies and cause certain entities and influences to become attached to the subtle field of the user...influences that can actually lead the soul astray into delusion or worse. A lot of the contemporary mania for oracles, divination and such does have this shadowy miasma around it which is less than desirable in terms of subtle alignment on the psychic and spiritual level. But from a Christian viewpoint much of the original Tarot symbolism can be found in the Gothic cathedrals and mediaeval stone carvings. Lastly, the Marseilles card XXI Le Monde originally depicted the Risen Christ.
@NigelJackson I can see that in the Major Arcana. I made a Holy Grail tarot in the 90s that has Jesus and Our Lady in it. Researching that I went to the UK and discovered your books. I love the idea of the World card being the Risen Christ. So much has been obscured for instance that the Holy Grail isn't the outer sign of an inward something or other, but the Holy Eucharist. It's so obvious when King Anfortas lives off the Grail much like a few saints who lived off the Holy Eucharist. Anyway, I plan to talk about stuff like this on my YT channel. I found yours, by the way, and subscribed.
God bless. I'm late to the party but I feel like I've gone through this path of Christianity, falling into Atheism and Spiritualism and such, then back to Christ. I get what you mean about perhaps needing to go through a process as the "dark night of the soul". I'm interested in Christian Mysticism very much now. Makes me wonder if I should get rid of my tarot deck or some books but I haven't quite felt compelled to do that.
I've been selling off books and only have my own tarot deck that I designed in the 90s. I did deliverance prayers and chose Jesus as my Lord and He came through in a tsunami of love.
Interesting what you said about hell being in the sub lunar world. Have you read Thomas the Rhymer? How you described the location of Hell reminded me of the tale, particularly how the Fairy Queen described Hell and Elphame.
Hi! I've been working intensely on a crime documentary, and I value your opinion on the project. If you could take some time to watch the video and share your thoughts, I would be grateful.
Hello! I saw this reqiest of yours a while back but haven't had a minute to respond. Do you want me to watch it and give my opinion? I'm not especially into crime stories. I'm pretty particular and don't like looking at dead bodies. If you thank I can help run it by me and I'll take a look. Cheers!

Hi Cara! I had no idea you were here! This was quite a curve ball for me but I'm so glad it happened. Thank you for speaking up and staying around.

I'm new to this channel, but I love your other channel, which led me here. Much respect to you and bright blessings in your spiritual journey. 🙏
Thank you for coming over! Things have changed so much. I'm not sure yet what to do with this channel but I hope to help in some way.

That's so cool! Thank you!
I love everything you talk about and I love listening to you.

Thanks for sharing! I used to be into using the Ouija board and ghost hunting. Happy that I left it behind.
Wow! I've never been into Ouija boards because I believed they were dangerous. Maybe once as a kid. Thank you!

Yes, I know that ballad and really love it, actually. I was very mush into Faery and have a lot to share about that too.
