Aside from the 200 pawns... Fire, Vegetation, and Job Checks are the causes for your stuttering. Chop trees always, and try to minimize the number of colonists you have checked off beat out fires for, the game does a check every tick to see if there’s fire and with 200 colonists it can really slow it down. All in all, love the the videos!
Thats an unfortunate way to do that, maybe a mod could make it so the fire checks for colonists within a range, rather than have colonists check for a fire in range
you should have 2 people that just carry around the rocket launchers called Rocket1 and Rocket2. They wouldn’t do anything at all, just be idle all the time unless something scary happens
you can set the crafting of clothing to include worn apparel, meaning you can tell them to make a total of 201, including what people are wearing, and even make sure awful or low durability clothing isn't included in the count or in their wardrobe options, so they'll keep track of making new clothes and replacing their clothing automatically
As a heavy mod player, I can tell you that most of the lag from this game comes from Pawn pathing. You should try dubs performance analyzer to make sure it’s not some random block in the middle of no where causing rapid update and dropping ticks. You could also try runtimeGC to lower pawn relations. Because the game is single threaded, no matter how good your pc is you will always have this lab, and worry not about tour pc dying, because it will kill only 1 core at a time, and there are at least 4 backup cores that it could kill before you having to get a new pc.

A really useful mod for construction is called "replace". Basically, you don't have to deconstruct walls or anything if you want to change the material its made out of. All you do is place the construction blueprint above it and builders will automatically start building above it. When the construction is done you will also get the materials from the old building as if it had been deconstructed. Very handy mod which doesn't require a new save.

Tips: -Double click sleeping spots/harvesting/beds/walls/etc to highlight all in view. -Theres a copy option when doing schedules and work shifts to make setting the colonists jobs and schedules easier.
if you make them produce clothing as "do until x" and set it up to make 1, they will make dusters and pants until everybody in the colony has one equipped. Also make them wear clothing until it has 51% of durability left to avoid the tattered apparel debuff. I hope this makes your life a bit easier managing so many colonists.
PRO TIPS: with assigning medicine you can click and drag downwards to assign to herbal. you can copy and past sleep/work schedule on the left of the excel chart looking thing. you can copy and past jobs on production things (e.g. stonecutter tables) click on copy on the job, then paste on top right of the menu. If you want less lag on larger colonies then the answer is rather simple. Fireproof floor the majority of everything outside of your base. The game tends to spawn in animals to a ratio where the vegetation can sustain them or they leave the map. You can leave a little bit outside your walls if you still want to hunt, If you put it right at the edge of your gun range it makes for easy target practice. Personally I like using either the bones mod or colored sterile tiles and doing a checkerboard pattern or other weird designs. I get a strange sense of joy in knowing that my enemies become the flooring their brothers in arms will bleed out on. If you use the raise the roof mod you can pull down overhead mountain roof and completely strip mine the rest of your map, so it's no cover for the enemy as far as the eye can see.
Tried watching EnterElysium for some Bannerlord gameplay, but I couldn’t make it past five minutes, you are just too good, when I watched his all I could think was “I wish ambiguousamphibian would upload soon”
When changing medicine restrictions and the like. You can just hold down left click and drag your cursor down. That will change them to the medicine you started off on, a lot quicker. Also, you can copy/paste bills at workstations. There is a small white paper in the corner you can press on.
you should get the manager mod for these. that way you don’t have to constantly set trees to be chopped down. managing take intelligence and social so it could be a secondary job for researchers and it develops the social skill so you have someone to trade with. you can manage hunting, mining (though i don’t for fear of revealing areas), chopping, harvesting, animal training, animal slaughtering, taming, i’m not sure about hauling chunks, i can’t remember.
Just a recommendation, try to create zones for your colonists to work inside of. You can just create a two-block zone for each bed/room, but then assign their work space via zoning. It helps keep pawns out of areas that they shouldn't be, and it might assist with the 100 block radius issue (for eating). You should be able to assign zoning in their schedule.

Its essentially a roofed box, with sandbags and pillars for cover. Funny stealing the mortar's building supplies before they get to it is the best way I found to defeat them hehe
Hot tip: For easier management of friendly fire and formations, click and hold 'go to', drag until desired formation has appeared. I'd bet you've figured this out by now, but in case you haven't it's a really helpful tool.
the performance analyzer mod can be really helpful for working out what's causing lag. a lot of the time, people searching for jobs to do can cause a large amount of lag.
also, if you want to lower difficulty: when making new colony, make your own scenario by going into scenario editor. it's fairly intuitive, and you can alter and tweak some things here from a menu that can do lots of fun things. like lowering difficulty, selecting starting items, pawns, and other supplies. you can also change your method of arrival. you can since raids are scaled via wealth, once inside the scenario editor, you find the modifiers for things like economy and selling price (dont worry, they're all in a list. just have to navigate some menus) and make the values between 100 (input is %) and around 25-30. 30% is turning out to be pretty weak. i decrease sell price otherwise i get overloaded with wealth; tweak as you see fit. i'm prtty low, 20% maybe? You can make it so all colonists have a specific trait, or all pawns everywhere. you can set up events and encounters, drop pods, merchants, any event. it's nuts, and it can be one in vanilla) from that point, you should be able to save the scenario and then start a new colony as normal, selecting your custom one from the list.
Oh look at mister nice guy giving the gulag a hospital. Could you plant a massive coca tree farm and feed everyone off those? They'd get a mood boost and don't need cooking but dunno if it's enough.
The cause of the game lag at 17:08 is not mod related at all. It is a normal vanila behavior of when you try to haul chunks to stockpile that has no unreserved space left. When hauling pawns check if there is free space for what they are about to haul, start hauling and reserve space but then another pawn see free space starts hauling and another and another things start to get realy jittery once 5+ pawns try to haul chunks to a stockpile that has only two slots not to mention the clusterfunk that happens when 100+ pawns try to haul stones to stockpile with about a dothen spaces left.
You should get the stack mod so your entire colony doesn't have to be meal storage. Also forgot what it's called but there is a mod with training dummies which count as recreation so your pawns will basically go to the range and get better at shooting when they do so

Oh look at mister nice guy giving the gulag a hospital.
Could you plant a massive coca tree farm and feed everyone off those? They'd get a mood boost and don't need cooking but dunno if it's enough.
you mean cocoa not coca right
cocoa is what you make chocolate out of
coca is what you make cocaine out of
I let out a big "what!?" when you said you didn't need electricity...
I haven’t even had time to watch the first one all the way yet
Then do
RaRaRasputin194 did
Almost 3 am but I’m gonna watch this
Troubleshooting, anything designated trouble is shot.
31:10 “let’s have a smelter as well” they say, he who hath smelt it hath delt it…
The one guy cloud watching in a warzone "how good is the serenity"
"It looks like a fucked up virson of the Disney store in here" fuck that broke me hahahaha
You should get the stack mod so your entire colony doesn't have to be meal storage. Also forgot what it's called but there is a mod with training dummies which count as recreation so your pawns will basically go to the range and get better at shooting when they do so
"You've gotta troubleshoot." Best line of the episode
26:43 undiagnosed and untreated ADHD is helluva drug
2:47:The one constant of human civilization...smartphones.
15:00: And it works as a window!
19:40: I don't think "troubleshooting" is supposed to be so literal...
Why is this so satisfying to watch
