also just to add on since I didn't say it in the video, I actually like the nightly routine of just chilling and checking on tarantulas. it's relaxing to be in the zone and just do repetitive things like this - very similar to like gardening and stuff. a "happy place" so to speak!
also sorry for any weird audio or bad lighting, I'm really working on improving this so right now it's a bit of a trial and error period.

In the last 2 weeks (uni break) I've gone from one aquarium to 3 aquariums and a bowl-like set up just for snails, plus a couple terrariums. It's made me incredibly happy and helped with my depression. Having this feeling that I'm bringing in nature closer to me and I'm taking care of it and making beautiful set ups that are actually alive! It makes me appreciate other communities so much

Lol, I have a T. albopilosus that loves to "play" (attack) the water stream when I top off her water. She is the only one who does that, the others that have water dishes on the substrate surface don't seem to care. It's funny and charming when she does. I know she doesn't but at times it seems like she is actually enjoying the water.

Cool glimpse into the routine of a keeper with a larger collection. I loved how you misted the critter keepers- I guess all the ventilation does double duty! Lol I also loved the "line it up" technique. So clever! (Work smarter not harder, right?!)👌😄
I'm always curious about the time commitment for people who keep a large number of critters- of any species. This gave me a pretty good idea of daily upkeep. I'm sure keeping up with rehouses or full on watering takes more time, but this looks so pleasant and peaceful! 😊

Fellow jumping spider keepers: I am currently removing slings from the enclosure that they share with mom. I know most keepers will remove the entire nest and destroy it in the process of removing the babies. I really dont want to do this because this is were mom sleeps and I know with older spiders, sometimes they struggle to make a good nest again. Im thinking about just waiting for the remaining slings to wander out on their own. As they come out I will capture them and put them inside of their own individual container. Thoughts?
