- The last Ariane 5 launch vehicle (Ariane Flight VA261) launched the Heinrich-Hertz and SYRACUSE 4B satellites into geostationary transfer orbit (GTO) from Ariane Launch Complex No. 3 (ELA 3) at Guiana Space Centre in Kourou, French Guiana, on 5 July 2023, at 22:00 UTC (19:00 local time).

During the live stream, one of the presenters said that the total payload was light enough to allow for a 3° inclination, instead of the 6° inclination typically found on Ariane 5 GTO launches.
@@Poniax3 Webb was even lighter but at 770 tons at liftoff, that really doesn't matter.
@@Poniax3 Tbh, the JWST launch jumped off the pad pretty quick too. Ariane 5 didn't mess around!
