The youngest Olympic gold medalist is believed to have been between 7 and 14 years old, competing in the 1900 Paris Olympics. During the rowing event, most of the coxswains were young French boys weighing about 25 kg, which the French crews employed to their advantage. The winning Dutch crew decided, after losing their heat, that their own coxswain was too heavy, and they recruited a French boy to steer the boat for the finals. Yeah as a Floridian I can tell ya flat out that place name map doesn't make sense, if anything ours falls into 3 categories Spanish (Boca Raton, Ponte Vedra, Valparaiso etc.), Native American (Apalachicola, Kissimmee, Okeechobee etc.), English (Fort Pierce, Bristol, Wellington etc.). We do have few others to like French (Bermont, Clermont, Fontainebleau etc.) then there is also St. Petersburg (Russian), Bagdad (Iraqi), Bohemia (Czech), Lisbon (Portuguese), Geneva (Swiss), Odessa (Ukrainian) etc. the only Italian ones I can think of here are Naples and Venice. Also there is nuance to Florida's open carry laws, while it is illegal in most circumstances you can open carry in such circumstances as hunting or camping FL statute 790.25(3), so while that map isn't completely wrong its not totally right either.

4:03 Well about that, it's worth noting that Russia was projected to be outright in the negatives in 2023 and 2024 and yet they ended up growing by around 3.5% both years instead. So those projections have a lot of wishful thinking involved. We're basically just hoping that the sanctions will start kicking in but they keep not really doing anything since China and India aren't following them. And just with those two countries, Russia is pretty much still trading with half of the world's population. And as for Canada, yes our GDP is growing but our GDP per capita? It's actually going down. The only reason why we're ''doing good'' on paper is due to a massive increase in immigration.
The reason Russian GDP is growing, is because they are at war. GDP always grows when country is at war, as war industry starts kicking in. The bad thing is that the war industry isn't helping the russian civilians or the economy
@@otherhouse You've played too much Metal Gear Solid. Economies don't generally grow in wartime. The USA's economy slowed down both during Vietnam and Irak, the USSR's war against Afghanistan ruined their economy, Israel's economy slowed down significantly since they started their war, etc... The main reason why people think this is true is that the USA's economy exploded during WW2. But that's because they were selling weapons and supplies to everyone and were generally kind of unaffected by the fighting. Not only were they not even fighting for the two first years but the US mainland was attacked only once during the whole war with Pearl Harbor. Anyway, according to the IMF (which I think knows more about this than either you or me) Russia's economy is growing because wages are growing, unemployment is very low and exports remain as strong as ever. They literally switched Russia back to a high-income economy this year.
2:05 25 is the age that people, on average, are fully developed and start aging (as in repair rates start slowing down) but that doesn't mean that the age of 25 is your physical peak. Your physical peak depends on whatever you need it for. When it comes to sports, the general rules is: explosive power and mobility early in life, raw strength later. That said, power athletes can keep (most of?) said power well into their 30s and 40s if they keep training it regularly. For skill sports and some very specific physical demands (like grip strength), there seems to be much less of an age cut-off if any, though.
