Hi Tanya, was wondering if you have any updated videos about removing original images from 'promoted templates?' I own most of my images used in the social media templates that I am creating to sell. To leave in the templates or Not to leave in the templates. That is my struggle. What would you do? I hope this makes sense. Also do you have any updated videos (2023) on commercial license vs non commercial licensing (or eXtended Licensing) for social media templates? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. I haven't published a new product on DB since they made the shift. I don't go on their site nearly as much and am working on a way to help creators now it's just taking a lot longer than I expected

I was doing KDP and hired designers to do a few of my books and one of them used a copyright image and my account was terminated because of it. I won't get my account back but I also discovered I LOVE creating visual graphics etc so I would like to create interiors/covers for others so they can trust they are not going to have the same fate as me. Having control over the images very much interests me.....I have NO idea how to create from scratch and have only created by putting existing graphics together etc. I am 53 and don't come from a background of anything creative :) lol.....I have but really haven't used inkscape and affinity designer 2 (just bought this but haven't used it). Any direction you could offer would be so appreciated...I have no idea where to start. I literally need to be spoon fed every step if that helps :) lol.........
Wordpress is an entirely different beast. You need to use titles, meta data, information in your descriptions, alt text, url SEO and more. Would take ages to explain but happy to chat if you need it

Shopify is complicated in terms of VAT but other taxes is not a concern Design bundles handles taxes you are paid a commission from an order that is already taxed Personal websites are really the most complicated and it entirely depends on the platform
Maybe this is a dumb question but how do the dollar deals work on Design Bundles? If it’s a dollar then you’ll only make 75 cents. I don’t understand how you could make more money from 75 cents for all the work put into each design? Do you find this actually pays off? I find that when I sell my stuff that cheap, it ends up in a dump site where people share designs (so annoying). Whereas people who pay more are less likely to distribute my designs. Just curious how it’s going for you 1 year later. Also, I have my own website and I’m thinking about joining Design Bundles too. How do you drive traffic to your main site from Design Bundles without getting into trouble 🫣? Thanks so much for this video. I'm still researching Design Bundles and looking for more info about it because they seem to have some premium type stuff going on and I find it confusing and wonder how it works for sellers. Great questions! Generally on dollar sales you only make about 20 cents a file. For the dollar deals they run weekly if you have a good product it can be very lucrative. I was apart of one with a bundle and made around $600 in one day which was amazing. I do NOT condone selling products cheaply otherwise - it does undervalue all of your hard work. DB has a file min of $5.00 now per file for designers. Design Bundles is an ok platform to sell on. I've been migrating more to my website but also focusing my attention more on helping people through. Averaging about $800 a month with little effort these days between all of my selling platforms. I put about 10ish hours into the business side a week Most of my time now is spent on content creation for TH-cam However when I was just focused on my Etsy shop and design bundles I would average around 1k a month for each Etsy shop and around $500 on design bundles This is without any social media promotion It entirely depends on what you're selling and what level of effort you put in Now without posting anything new content wise on etsy or DB I average around 1k between the two shops on Etsy and around 300 on DB Of course this fluxes over time and seasonality as well
