I used to think Renee bordered on annoying fanboyism when he was at iMore, now he is indie it would seem he feels he can be more honest. I am so glad he went solo, and it was definitely the right thing to do, he is my go-to now for Apple stuff. And don't worry about India being late to the Apple party - that will change soon, India will soon be a top-of-the-list country I have no doubt!

They should have added the feature where when you take off the buds music stops playing.This feature was present in the 2017’s Airpods .So it’s very disappointing to see it’s not present in these .
I didn't really find the AirPods Pro to sound any better than the Studo Buds in your test samples. The AirPods Pro sounded more "tinny/echo-y" where the Studio Buds sounded a *little* muffled but more rich.
Pros for me: No stem Compact buds and case Matte black! Decent battery life Anc and transparency Decent iOS intergration Android too! Non deal breaking Cons: No ear detection(first world problems) No wireless charging for case(first world problems) No icloud pairing (first world problems) As someone who lived the greater part of his life on wired earphones i can safely say i can get by without the missing features and i got AirPod pros as a backup set to use in moments where im using both my iphone and ipad and need that device switching available, for all other times when its just me and my phone only these are perfect

And it would always prevent ultrasonic pairing, as it routes audio automatically...as designed when detected. But I could not mute that ONE device out. But overall... synching across is pretty frigging awesome.
It’s amazing how much beats improved over the past few years. I got some studio 2 for my bar mitzvah and they weren’t very good after a year and a half.

This is why I used Beats X for years. Shame they were so unreliable, I think I got through about five sets! I loved those headphones though. AirPod Pros hurt my ears after a while, and normal AirPods drop out and I end up swallowing them (that last bit may not be true)
I asked the same question somewhere else. The one thing that dawned on me while i was laying down using my pros, this one can't compare due to the button/control. It will most likely activate certain commands. So this will be a no go for me. Seems nice for walking and commute and price point is just right.

I'm the man for yall because I do landscaping and I'm on a ride mower, AND I have the PowerBeats Pro and the noise cancelation is OK but the ride lawnmower can still be heard I'd rate the PowerBeats Pro for cancelation a 7/10, and supposedly the new Studio Buds they have worse noise Cancelation

And I also when I use to go to shcool i would have them on during passing period alot of students are there but the cancelation was very good as well inwould rate the school at 9/10. But when really noisy environment it's like I said 7/10

There is such a horrible trade off between both of these. Had AirPods Pro first. Returned because the low end is just missing with AirPods Pro. They weren’t very comfortable. Studio Buds give me that low end but the transparency mode is just horrible. I walk around the city a lot and feel even with transparency mode active that I’m still too closed up and not aware of my surroundings. I literally still have to take them out to have a conversation, where I didn’t have too with AirPods Pro. Transparency mode on the AirPods Pro wins. Noise reduction on both are great. Studio buds are more comfortable. I do feel like the studio buds are versatile. However, after using studio buds for 3 weeks the lack of seamless switching between my multiple apple devices is really missed. Another annoying thing about Studio buds is that my right studio bud sometimes works it’s way out and needs to be pushed back in. When doing so, if you touch them almost in any way, it’s hard to not accidentally press the face of them which activates the pause or start music or video streaming. I am considering a return to AirPods Pro again. It’s a matter of what trade offs I am willing to live with. I think loss of low end can be compensated for with my over ear headphones when I really want to hear music to the fullest. AirPods Pro are back down to $179 on Amazon which is only 30 dollars more than studio buds so price is not too much of a factor anymore.

I have the beats studio 3 wireless, and in typical beats fashion they have completely fallen apart. Thank God I didn't buy them but got them when someone I knew got them included for free with a new mac. I really want to get these but I wonder if the sound will be on the same level or close to it at least.
I wish they looked more like the Powerbeats Pro so they can go over the ear. I feel Ike they will fall out of my ear because I know that the apple AirPods do already.

I think the AirPods Pro sound better and the noise cancelling was better, but value wise the beats studio buds offer more.

The wingtips are not comfortable from a lot of different reviews and the studios comfortable and perform just the same

Can you use beats studio buds mic in a phone call on windows 10 devices? Cause airpods with H1 chip would have trouble doing so.
