Why do people not understand the difference between minimum wage and living wage? Min wage = entry level jobs. It shouldn't be synonymous with living wage! Why aren't people pushing for fair living wage instead? Like, companies can't keep employees at min wage over XX amount of time - that should be the issue. You can't employ people for like 5 years and keep them at min wage. If you're good enough to work for a company, they should have to increase wages XX amount over time- like a % wage increase, living wage increase or something! 🤷🏼‍♀️
