The guy is actually not very good and disingenuous. If you pay attention he laughs at random nonfunny statements when shes speaking to keep the atmosphere lively but it comes off extremely disingenuous. The reason why the interview feels like a conversationis because of how charismatic Emilia is. Look at any interview she's ever done and youll see this at probably a greater level when the interviewer is more engaging.

First time I've gone down a TH-cam rabbit hole of interviews based on the interviewer, but this guy is so great, they're less interviews and more like conversations between friends.
What a talented actress. Very down to earth and chill. I hope I see more of her in other things, now that GoT is done.
She has the most expressive face. Have to imagine that reflects years of hard work and practice to perfect.

She so doesn't. I've seen every episode. Maybe the difference is subtle to some people but there's definitely a difference.
Tay Hogan - perhaps more of a formalised English accent, since she's playing a Queen, but I definitely think you're splitting hairs here. It's too slight a difference to call it a different accent. I think you mean a difference in dialect. It's not important anyway.

The interviewer is awesome. He actually listens to her and they're having legit conversation. Many interviewers are all about asking question after question, without any conversation about what person said. It seemed to me in many occasions that they don't even care what the person they're interviewing is talking about, they just wait for the person to stop talking so they can ask another question. Kudos to this guy. If I were a famous person, I would LOVE for him to interview me.
Funny how the british "Oi" is a slang for "Hey", while in Portuguese we (native speakers of Portuguese) actually say "Oi", too, because "Oi" is actually a Portuguese word that means "Hey" / "Hi".
Maybe it came back here with the troops after the Peninsular War.
Up here in the northwest England, 'Oi' is an impolite/rude' way of saying 'Hey you'. It's always used in a negative context.
Maybe it's like blighty. Bilayeti literally means foreigner in Hindi, and during colonial British soldiers picked it up and started using blighty to mean homeland during World War. Maybe they picked up Oi the same way during peninsular war or the wars of coalition or world war.

It's crazy that people are so pushy. I'm not sure if I would even go up to someone famous if I saw them let alone ask for a selfie or autograph...they must get so tired of not being able to just run errands or go to a restaurant without being constantly photographed and/or accosted.
I'm pretty sure the cool half-million she gets per Game of Throne episode makes up for the inconvenience.
It’s in the job description. If she was working in McDonald’s then every day she would dream about people ‘accosting’ her for photos or autographs. It doesn’t excuse those who are rude or pushy but they have a duty not to bite the hand that feeds them.

In the off Chance Emilia Clark looks at the comments --- Miss Clark! You should watch Departures - a really great travel show, and Chef's Table - an extremely beautifully done documentary series about mind blowing food. Both are on Netflix.
Those eyebrows, i could have a conversation with her eyebrows alone, they're so expressive.
If I saw a celebrity like her, I would honestly just be at my best behaviour, saying something like "I'm sorry to stop you like this, but I just wanted to say hello and how much I love you in your movies/TV shows. Would you mind it if I took a picture with you?" Something along those lines. They are people too and you have to realize that they probably get stopped for this stuff all the time, so I imagine it can get a bit annoying when you're just minding your business and some random just stops you for a picture or an autograph. I imagine it's a lot less annoying when someone treats you like an actual person instead of just some object. Just be respectful. I would be freaking out internally though.
More so than any GoT cast member, she's so down to earth.
