- Bible teacher Derek Prince points out that God’s primary purpose in redemption is a personal relationship with each of the redeemed. The primary requirement of God is to hear God’s voice and keep His covenant. God gives us authority to rule, He gives us His power in our hands.
God has destined us to be Kings and Priests (1 Pet. 2:9; Rev. 1:5-6)
A. Kings rule (Col. 1:13; Rom. 5:17; 2 Cor. 5:21)
1. Fourfold identification is path to the throne (Eph. 2:4-6)
a. Dead with Jesus
b. Buried with Him
c. Resurrected with Him
d. Enthroned with Him
The kingdom is only for priests (1 Pet. 2:5)
1. Ministry of priests: to offer sacrifice
2. Jesus was our pattern (Heb. 5:1; 7:27; 9:14)
a. He offered prayer (Heb. 13:15)
b. He offered Himself by the Spirit to the Father (Heb. 9:14)
3. In return, the believer must likewise offer himself (Rom. 12:1)
4. Jesus continues to intercede in eternity (Heb. 7:24). He shares His burden with those who are called as intercessors.
Each phase of redemption involves all three Persons of the Godhead
A. Incarnation
Jesus incarnated by Father through Holy Spirit
B. Healing
The Father anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit
C. Crucifixion
Jesus, through the Spirit, offered Himself to the Father
D. Resurrection
The Father, by the Spirit, raised Jesus from the dead
E. Pentecost
Jesus received the promise of the Spirit from the Father
Authority Of Godhead And Satan’s Imitation
A. Father/Son on throne (Ps. 110:1-2; Heb. 12:22-24)
B. Rod of Christ’s authority rules over His enemies
A ruler’s rod has his name on it (Num. 17:2)
a. Aaron
b. Jesus
Three patterns of witchcraft in Old Testament
a. Magicians of Egypt
b. Balaam
c. Jezebel
Witchcraft in the New Testament
a. Practitioners of occult resist gospel (2 Tim. 3:8, 13)
b. Ultimate battle is going to be a battle of power-not of theology

How to handle the rod
1. Receive the rod of intercession from God and stretch it out
2. Make yourself a freewill offering (Ps. 110:3)

Oh Lord! We are seeing this preaching in October 2023, my wife and I. We were shocked to learn about this part of the intercession, as we don't know why, the Lord led us to pray for Israel at the beginning of this year, and we didn't understand why. Now, listening to this preaching, the discernment came that it was the Holy Spirit, leading us to carry the burden of Israel, because 3 days ago, Israel was mercilessly attacked by surprise at 6:00 am on the Sabbath. We never had the chance to go visit Israel. Glory to God for knowing that the Holy Spirit is leading our prayer. We live in Brazil. We are intercessors for Israel.

Look qt Joseph, who was immature and attention-seeking but took decades to develop good leadership skills. Look at David, who was impulsive and rejected by his family and his king, but God took decades to raise up and refine. Look at Paul, who began as Saul, proud, murderous, fighting, whose personality was so abrasive and opinionated that he was repeatedly abandoned by everyone during his ministry until at least he was humbled. God works in all of us, until those who are still young admire the strength and character they see. But the strongest believers are in fact those who have endured the most suffering, see the worst of humanity and allowed themselves to be humbled the most before the one true living God.

It's tough when I'm at a stay at home homeschooling mom, wife, caretaker to be able to yield to the deep, God hearted intercession..I'd stay there for hours, days even if it were possible..but I gotta focus at times and feed my kiddos...God gets ahold of me at night, but I usually fall asleep mid way thru about midnight..but oh how I love Him..He carried the cross for me, so when I have quite time to myself, I give it to God🥰🙏..when the kids are a bit older I wanna go to work for Christ in worship and prayer like a full time job, with overtime!!😊😉..bless you all dear saints..dont be anxious, you and I are exactly where we are supposed to be 🙌

Believing He is going to lead me to natural pain meds. Not big pharma. He led me to start prayer walking in my block because drug traffic has highly increased, also thefts. It worked a few years ago. I was wondering about that. I’m still fairly young. I have raised my children and my spouse left years ago. It was a marriage that ended due to me finding out he was actually bisexual. I told God I didn’t want to Marry again. I’m sold out for him. I want to be sold out as an offering to Him. My youngest are twins and in college. I’m an empty nester now at 47. I’m glad God has revealed his desire to use you, that’s amazing.
I don’t think he meant any malice by saying God wants to use young people, but (as long as one is available) it’s easier to use younger people in their 20s because they are likely to have more time. No matter how willing and available a married woman with children is, She can’t just get up and go to another country if that’s what God wants, whereas a younger, single woman with no children can do that.

I have listened to perhaps 50 - 100 of Derek's messages. As well as many other teachers and preachers. I must say this is the most clear, precise and beautiful message I have ever heard. I have known nearly most ideas of this sermon for many years but could never relate this truth like Derek does here. I am reminded of one of my favorite songs, rendered by a singing group by the name of Hallal Music, called "Before the Throne of God Above".
