I have a bunch more information. Also, don’t modify the suspension on these vehicles leave the standard shocks in the front you can change the rear, but do not change the front shocks. You will lose all of your hop! 🤦🏽♂️

Well here’s one I got the JEVRIES black collector #753 out #1000 59 impala n just got the redcat car hauler for Christmas 🙂….. when I got the hauler I was driving the collector 59 onto the car hauler and scratched the hell out the chrome undercarriage on the 59 😳🤦🏻♂️ cause the redcat car hauler has “grip” like sandpaper on the floor of the car hauler for grip it’s cool just wished I could’ve put two n two together before attempting to drive my 59 up on the car hauler and scratching the bottom of my collector 59 🤢 … 🤔I was thinking I should’ve put like pieces of strong clear tape to scratch the tape rather then the chrome 🤦🏻♂️
Hey man, i appreciate the info, if you want the distance of the offset perfect, get a set of calipers (they are cheap and can tell .0000 of a inch/mm if you use that), and im telling you man it will help if you are crazy about things being perfect (I know I am). You could tell exact thickness of a part and share results and how they look, may help the channel, great job again!
@@OgKrazyNick it’s hard to tell without installing the skirts on homie ,even if you keep sanding off the wheel hub hex ain’t goin to fit properly they only way to find out is to try em out !! I seen that the 64 body has a way different shape as the 59 body that also can be an issue what you doin to the wheel hex it might work if you put the 64 body because it fit a little looser from the bottom an the 59 it fits more thigh from the bottom to the chassis been that mean that when you add the skirts to the 59 they goin to be more Closer to the chassis then the 64 !!! But don’t trip homie don’t be scare to try mess with the 59 😁😎on mines I did all kids of things with it 😁😎😆I even cut off the top to add the jevries rag top 😰😁but I do think it looks nicer I also added em chrome stars on the skirts algo got the jevries continental kit haven’t installed it till y try to add the red like on the star ima see if it works if it does fit ima add it it not then I just install tne continental kit without the back red light !!!

Thanks for the tip Brother! I installed the differential and axle shafts from the Monte Carlo on my 59 and used 5mm aluminium hexes. More work but fits perfectly. Check out UTube NorthSide Custom RC Video on this modification.
@@Carlosinator it’s bad to change out the front shocks because you will lose all of your hopping capabilities, man you only want to do certain modifications on that vehicle or else you will destroy the original capabilities
@@OgKrazyNick Agreed Brother! I've had success with the wpl shocks (unmodified) from Kandy n Chrome and Skunks Hobbies. I built them per videos at UTube NorthSide Custom RC functional shocks. Also Robert Campbell Hop Springs. They Pop! 😎👍🏻

Modifying the suspension springs and shocks on these cars is (unnecessary) Jevries took 22 years to get it perfect!
It also helps to do this on the 1964 because the back rooms rub on the wheel well also

I jus use the Monte Carlo rear axles on both my impalas!! It’s narrower

You can still sink the adapter it a couple more millimeters if necessary
