Description says 02-08 ram 1500 but when I click your link is doesn't come up for my 2003 ram 1500 🤷‍♂️

This is an excellent “how to” video. The technician demonstrated exactly how I needed to remove and replace components so I could make repairs on the right rear door of my ‘09 Dodge Ram 2500. I only removed enough of the harness so that I could easily solder the two broken wires I found in the rubber boot between the body and door.

trying to repair wires in between the door and body is no joke, if you unplug some gives you the room even to get the boot out of the way. Im glad i watched this, mind you that the plug for the harness in the body in my mk4 golf was a little deeper in to the car

Nice video. Will save it for when I decide to replace the harness instead of using temporary wire fixes. Just wondering-If I replace the old harness with a new harness, wont I eventially encounter the same problems or are the newer wiring harnesses made better?

+Norman Heggstrom Thanks for watching! It all depends on what you replace it with. If you go with a factory harness then it will likely perform like the original.

Great video! Thank you. I wish i had smaller hands. Even after disconnecting the latch assembly, i struggled to get to that connector. Almost every wire inside the harness was damaged or broke. Now, everything is functioning as it should.

One of the best vids on replacing the entire new harness, great job, one more thing to add is , if you buy an aftermarket and it's difficult to get the new boot to pop into the hole use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm the rubber and have a small flat screwdriver handy to help seat it. Kudo's to this Mechanic for his efforts.

Why is it when I put in my rams info on your site it says this part doesn't fit it. I have a 2003 ram 1500 quad cab. So it should be interchangeable correct??

So i typed in 02 Jeep Grand Cherokee, because mine needs to be replaced an you’re the only one who has replaced this. So i assume i can use this video for my car ?

Recommendation on how to best push though the rubber (wiring harness) boot on the door side so it seats correctly. I have tried everything.

My Dodge Ram had 6 of the 9 wires broken on the driver's side. Now the passenger side door is doing the same thing (speaker and automatic door locks no longer work) so will have to take it apart too. I can't afford the price for a new wire harness so I made the necessary repairs myself. Now it's better than new

Is it the same for the front doors?? Or just for the rear
