Meaty sounding amp, is that bite coming from the amp or is there something boosting the front end. That ‘73 Strat is lovely, I have a natural ‘73 which I got for a good price as it previously had a Floyd Rose on. I put a Floyd back in it as I like them! It’s lighter than my ‘79 but the neck is chunkier. I think my ‘79 is unusual in having quite a thin neck as I’ve since has a few that were a lot beefier. They varied a lot in the 70’s! Enjoying your videos and you have some great chops as they say on your side of the pond.

Sadly I’ve since sold that ‘73, but I have another-it’s a lot lighter than the one in this vid was, but sounds very similar. You’re right, some major variance in those 70s Strats!!!
