    Mark, you have one of the best strength/fitness channels out there. Descriptive, precise, and logical. Good camera work, sound, and editing. Your hard work is appreciated.

    Hey there! I just received my “Wildman Athletica” branded adjustable KB. I got the 12-32 kg bell. It’s the one that goes from 12-20.5 KG and the expansion pack which takes it to 32 KG.
    It is a fantastic piece of kit. I opted for the “Wildman Athletica” branding which makes the bell infinitely cooler.
    If you think you would like to get into single arm KB programs like Simple and Sinister, this ls is the bell for you. It gives you the advantage of using the same dimension apparatus while increasing the weight.
    I got this particular bell as a thank you for all the wonderful, comprehensive and intelligent content from Mark. Thank you!

    At 15:15, "Changing lead is a fundamental athletic skill," is spoken like a true horseman. Now I'm going to think of the figure 8s as alternating flying changes of lead. I've never applied thie change of lead concept to human ambulation, either, but I think we do it frequently in sport when we stutter step to evade or stay on an opponent. Thanks for producing these vids, assembling them in sequence, and provoking this train of thought.

    Mark, are you planning to make some video about resisting bands? Man, it's so good for warm up and if you work harder increase endurance as well.

    I do a nice workout that is 10 reps of all the following: Around the world L/R; Figure 8 Front to back; Fig.8 Back to Front; Around the world with waiter's catch L/R; Wood Choppers L/R; Ribbons; Halos L/R . I do them all one after the other without setting the bell down. It is a great warm up and mobility workout. Usually stay with a 16kg. bell.

    I do halos with Kettlebells and shield casts with clubs, and I also do halos with a basketball. Do you think someone who doesn't yet have mobility to safely halo a Kettlebell might benefit by starting to learn the movement with a basketball or volleyball, etc? It does feel good, even without the weight!

  • @lukem2492
    @lukem2492 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hey mark, do you think 2 hand shield cast and circles with a lighter club would be just as effective as a warmup as the halos and around the world variations?

    i got a cheap amazon kettlebell years ago, swing it around occasionally. It has a handle with a rounder shape instead of the vertical sides so I cant get that good rack position. It just doesnt work without my wrist bending backward. A

    Hey! Sorry for OT, but regarding the last video and actually pretty much clubs so is it more beneficial for shooting in ice hockey or similars to do those pendulums* (th-cam.com/video/SRNTrFvHgz0/w-d-xo.html) or that mill prep one(th-cam.com/video/G_OXuFs2bRs/w-d-xo.html)?
