The ship isn’t finished yet, they only put in the game for balancing before they actually release it to the public servers. Maybe you should’ve waited until the ship is released before giving this “review.”
The Polaris should be as refined as the Starlancer. But, compared to the Starlancer, the Polaris interior looks unfinished. The Polaris appears like it was rushed out. The habitation rooms look unfinished. Gaps exist between the floor and walls and you can see outside of the ship. What happened to the original, amazing Mess Hall, windows, and pool table? Outside... it's completely AMAZING!!!
why do these crazies not think that the landing gear might be a great place for a physical button bit i love we can fly the ship from 2 seats left or right. as a handy electrician i am often asked to move things like switches from common places to special places and they cant put the open doors in your mobi glass or on the landing gear or somewhere reachable? with all these pyramid shaped hall ways i agree its not a good place to fight or defend your ships if you have no where you can hide because your head need to be in middle your kill zone is to dangerous well on second thought its an advantage for people who sit still and defend. but if your john wick you would wanna run to face your intruders and this will place you at an disadvantage.... the other thing i dont like about angular walls is that it creates a ton of waste of space you can put furniture under wall but duck to reach or walls inverted away from you then shrinks the room and you cant put furniture without looking out of place
i've played SC for too long to know i like grumpy.. for a very long time i have believed sc players have 3 states... 1- OMG this is amazing(usually when new things drop like ships or even better landing zones) 2-grind mindset 3-i hate this fudging game and i dare you to tell me it's in alpha while i'm complaining. when grumpy *quit* sc i knew number 3 was hitting hard, completely understandable in my eyes, i have zero loyalty to sc despite the amount of dollars i have in it(it's exactly 560 dollars.. which is small change compared to the whales or hardcore citizens) and star citizen is literally a love/hate relationship, i understand there are sides to the community that believe you can only either exclusively love or hate it and there is no inbetween. this game literally NEEDS both sides of that community, i won't take about the lovers because there are levels to it because some lovers quite literally live in imaginary land, living off the hopium and copium of what they envision SC to be. but the haters, often point out very valid reasons to hate the game and without them we'd still have really terrible gameplay, like remember "hover mode" or that time where they literally placed a no flyzone around all landing zones except for a little hole you could exit/enter from? OR on the reverse, if it wasn't for the people to buy ships due to their imaginations or practical reasons, CIG wouldn't be able to hire a ton of developers...um..i mean artists. right wing left wing, whatever.. without either, we'd be spinning around in circles.
Why complain about Polaris if there is no content for interaction in the game itself and not in the ship? Everything works in the ship that is in other ships, except for the little things. When they release new gameplay such as engineering, it will also appear in Polaris. Hammerhead's interior looks a lot worse, Carrack has a lot of problems, but it looks better inside because it's Anvil. Polaris corresponds to the RSI design.
hammerhead's interior is more detailed. Please don't start with that argument "but there are no systems in place so you can have more interactions in the ship". That argument is invalid after 13 years of development.
Surprisingly hilarious sheep review xP Feel alone when I say the interior design really suuuucks. It's so dull and uncreative. Most importantly are most of the cross sections being near identical to any misc ship. This is supposed to be RSI ! Why cant the whole layout look and navigate like the awesome cockpit and cargo area? Looks aside, and runner up for next most important point, why tf did they even bother making ANOTHER military focused sheep?! I know it's the first one of this size but the game is probably 90% miliatary focused, in general. When will we finally switch over to the other 8 proffesions and associated sheeps? Most disturbingly, combat is so popular that even the very next capital sheep will be ANOTHER miliary variant, despite that position being saved for the Galaxy for years!

Omg, the “content creator programme”.. imagine all the errr non benefits besides being shoes into Evocati to pump out hype videos about Pyro while glossing over all the bugs. I cycled $100 of store credit to melt up to it from a Carrack but looks to me like it will be utterly pointless and one to melt once the novelty wears off.. plus let’s face it, the game is appalling and unplayable anyway. I see they’ve learned nothing from the Carrack absurdly low hangar, and despite its huge footprint have a hangar that can’t carry many larger ships solely due to poor design restricting height. My thoughts after your tour: it lacks all the creativity and charm of the Carrack interior, seems oversized for what it is, and like they were just trying to find ways to fill such a huge interior. It’s not going to stay in my hanger long, $750 store credit incoming..
The hangar is quite large enough for its intended purpose. It can carry most fighters and even some larger ships as it is. It doesn't need to fit everything.
@Libertas_P77 immersive how though? You could always make the guns bigger, add more torpedoes, turrets etc. It's already a big ship and it looks sleek as it is, i wouldnt want it to look or feel more bloated. And how it was described originally was that it would only carry a small fighter. Seeing as you can fit things as large as a terrapin and prospector in it already, I'd say it's more than adequate.
Bro you dead ass rushed this review and if you have seen other videos about the ship you’d also see that your ship or server just bugged out be patient look for things and you’d be very surprised I’ve seen a lot of stuff you passed over like the storage you said was incomplete when it actually is working you didn’t actually look to see if it was also it has cameras in the brig the medical beds work on top of many other things you just passed over bro no diss but before you say something broke do your research and that doesn’t mean look at someone else’s video either you got to explore things

@ Right, but imagine the dynamic, immersive gameplay possible if they just raised the hangar height capacity by another 25% and designed it better..
@Libertas_P77 immersive how though? You could always make the guns bigger, add more torpedoes, turrets etc. It's already a big ship and it looks sleek as it is, i wouldnt want it to look or feel more bloated. And how it was described originally was that it would only carry a small fighter. Seeing as you can fit things as large as a terrapin and prospector in it already, I'd say it's more than adequate.
beautiful ship. nothing to do with it
After seeing tons of videos of the Polaris I'm already bored of it
The inclined walls are just stupid, so much wasted space.
