01:49 Oh man, that line delivery. Perfect, James. (It's kinda hard for me to reconcile this slow, thoughtful, contemplative James with the same James I've seen playing Star Trek or Gears Of War.)
Got this game on your recomendation, and absolutealy loved the design, the colours, the music, the theme. Didn't know each level's music corresponded with the colour of the chord! I'd argue it isn't as accessible as the creators wanted it to be - I struggled with the mechanics of the jump at some levels and ended up quitting after doing the same leap 20 times and still not getting it.. But it's a gorgeous game nonetheless and your review made me want to get back to it. Beautifully put into words, I'll watch the end when I play through it :)
I haven’t actually played this myself, but I watched a partner play it over and over, so I’m still having a lot of moments of “oh yeah, that bit” as you’re talking about what they represent
I don't usually put much weight on visual quality alone, but man alive, that's a stunning game. Platformers aren't my thing personally, so I never bothered looking into this game. This video is a nice insight into something I wouldn't have known anything about otherwise. So, cheers James.
I think perhaps their talent is better suited elsewhere David ☺️ I'd rather another original game rather than a sonic reboot that could be done by quite a few companies. But that is just my opinion
This was beautiful.
Even your review made me cry. You really captured the emotion of this game in your description.

WOW!!! :-O :-O :-O
How GRIS made me cry: it bored me to tears.
Some one should hire this studio to do a Sonic Adventure Remake, they made a Gris a hit game maybe they can make a classic better.

@@paradox555666 This could bring in new Sonic fans.
Hey David, I got some good Star Trek news!
They've cast a new actor as Robert April in Strange New Worlds!
@@AndrewD8Red I heard and It's a black man. They just raced swaped a character, unexceptible!
@@AndrewD8Red Trust you to bring Star Trek into a Gris review 😂
