    Thank you for the videos. I was supposed to be in Zambia for Christmas spending time with my family in Lusaka, to get to Kafue you drive passed our road!!! So even though I wasn’t there, this video I just found made my day! I hope I’m there for Christmas 2021. Hope you and your family stay safe!

    Along that same road Lusaka to Kafue (Mumbwa) is where I did my water project. Enjoying seeing Zambia in the rainy season.

    Thank you for sharing your trip videos with us. It was so interesting, and each stop was so different from the others. The scenery was just beautiful, and the lodge where you spent Christmas holiday certainly made certain that everyone was well-fed. It was just fascinating to watch all of this. Thanks again for sharing!

    You must be soo glad to get out of UK, the dystopia of Covid is insane as in rest of Europe. The lodge came alive with your visit and that would mean soo much for the staff.

    Finding rocks (or tree trunks) on roads in Africa in the manner showed in the video is NEVER random! There is always a reason - whether it is apparent to you or not...

      Network is reasonable if on the right one. I think they had WiFi but I just used my own data.

    How much was the air bnb and how wuch was the house the price

    • @HelenJoyCreates
      @HelenJoyCreates  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, thank you for watching. There is a link for musungwa lodge in my description, the prices are per person and depend on if you want self catering, half board or full board. It ranges from about 30-80 USD.
      The air BnB prices change depending on the day and season. I actually booked for us and some other friends who were travelling with us we were 2 families, for one night it was about 80 USD for all of us. The air BnB was called Zed lodgings on the same grounds as a restaurant called Urban Yard.

    Lovely video. I just can’t understand our system there whereby one has to travel all the way to Lusaka to get a work permit. Your commentary about the roads is courteous but with so many tolls on the road, l think it is because of corruption that some of the roads are in such bad shape. The lodge is lovely but needs a modern kitchen & the colour of the master bathtub could look much cleaner if cleaners used something like Exit mould Bathroom cleaner or Strike mould killer. Otherwise, the lodge is certainly beautiful. Thanks.

      Thanks for watching. Yes, I would have liked a better kitchen at the house, but thankfully I didn't have to do much cooking as we are at the restaurant.
