Not a big fan of the animation, but the ride/walkthrough itself is really awesome! Also, oh no! Where's the Prince's horse at the end?! That's gonna be a long way to walk to the castle!
I love the beautiful design and CGI animation of Snow White in this! I wish CGI Disney characters in movies and stuff were designed more close to their 2D counterparts like this more often! (I don’t like the huge eyes they give the CGI Disney characters, (Like the new princesses and stuff) in the movies (Like when the classic princesses appeared in "Wreck It Ralph 2", with new designs and looks, with huge eyes and not much like their 2D animation versions of themselves) around here in the U.S, if they were designed more like this like in Tokyo, they would look so much better! I’m hoping you guys expand this to have Cinderella and Aurora next get this beautiful type of CGI look in the future, or even bring this type of CGI Disney character design and animation here in the U.S, like making CGI Disney characters like this in the U.S. for Disney movies in the future! 😁❤️
@@DisneyDwayneYeah, The outfits they were wearing just didn't look right on them, (They've always worn dresses whenever they made an appearance, they just felt they were really out of character with those outfits in that movie. =( And I don't like how they use the huge bug eyes they give them around here compared to this. They just never look right or the way they originally should be like their 2D counterparts. =( ( I thing that whole bugged eyed princess thing all started when Tangled first game out.) You should convince Disney somehow to make them look just like this in future Disney stuff! =) The princesses would look so much better If they were more like this, and they would look like their original 2D counterparts. =)
At least the stairway acknowledges Anna of Frozen as a princess. Moana and Raya are now the latest additions that deserve equal recognition as these princesses before them! Surely, Shanghai will figure it out.
Not for this attraction from what I know. Usually it's stated on the map right? Like in Tokyo. I'll ask my Imagineer friend who designed this, but he might not even know haha.
Disney Dwayne They don't offer translation services but most of the stuff is self explanatory if you're familiar with Disney. All the important safety information is written in English.
I thought that Snow White was a highly advanced animatronic before I saw the other characters. Are those portions of the ride just cleverly masked monitors?
E-ManAnimates I see. Yeah.. well it's probably cheaper as a projection for them. Come to think of it, I've not yet seen a princess animatronic. Maybe they are keeping it real with just real actors.
Brandon Jinete The castle was meant to belong to them all. And it's built so that the walkthrough can change. You can actually listen to my interview with the Imagineer of the walkthrough linked in the video.
And, they had to pick Snow White out of other castle-ly princesses (Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Belle). My guess: Snow most closely resembles the average Chinese woman with idealized features (big eyes, pale skin, etc.). But I give them my fullest props for equally showcasing all eleven Princesses + Anna/Elsa in the interior.
You're right about why Snow White is more popular in China. Actually, that was the only Princess movie to be a hit or released in China until more recently when the others made it more mainstream. The attraction was also designed so changes could be made easily. You can listen to my interview with Imagineer Josh Steadman here th-cam.com/video/8MaW-K772uM/w-d-xo.html
Taydra Anna • Snow White deserved to have her own castle, she is the very first official successful Walt Disney Princess, every other Disney park castles in the world is either Auroras or Cinderella who has her castle in Florida. Snow White doesn't even come close to resembling Asian. She's German. If you are going to compare any Disney princess to Asian let it be Mulan as she IS Chinese. :)
Well Mulan is not popular in China because the Chinese don't see Mulan the same way Disney does. However because they are unfamiliar with Snow White and to them she has black hair and is fair skinned, she was ethnically relatable.
i love how its a revisiting of snow white but with the new princess style.
Snow White in 3D takes a bit of getting used to though
Disney Dwayne true. but i do like the concept
Snow whites scary adventures is still the winner of all snow white themed rides :P
Beautiful walk through
Indeed! Don't forget to check out our interview with one of the Imagineers for this project. Link in the video description. =)

Yeah I'm used to Snow White in 2D.

Yeah. I was a little disappointed with how some of them looked in Ralph Breaks the Internet.

What a strange thing lol I love it. I have no clue what is even being said but I still love it lmao
I could just imagine a perfect Snow White ride with this technology.
+Luis Flores Seems like you are a Snow White fan! Is that your favorite princess?
This is how Snow White should look in Wreck-It Ralph 2.
the animation is so good :0

Agreed!
Do they offer earphones with translation from Chinese to
other languages?

Anna Maguire
Thanks for the information Anna!
00:38 Does anyone know what dark magic is this? how do they make it work like it's 3D hologram 😳
My guess is a glass panel they project onto. How in detail... I'm not sure. =)
This technology makes me so jealous
Mirror part is someone what we have here in enchanted tales with belle
Mulan isn't a princess , and where is Eilonwy?
I thought that Snow White was a highly advanced animatronic before I saw the other characters. Are those portions of the ride just cleverly masked monitors?
Snow White singing by the well? It's a projection on a see-through plane, it seems to me.
E-ManAnimates I see. Yeah.. well it's probably cheaper as a projection for them. Come to think of it, I've not yet seen a princess animatronic. Maybe they are keeping it real with just real actors.
Regardless, I want to see Disney continuing to push the envelope for these animatronics.
Disney Dwayne when the beauty and the beast ride opens they are animatronics!
Bring this to Disney World
Disney Dwayne,谢谢你跟我们分享上海迪斯尼乐园的游乐设施。看起来很酷,很漂亮,我都在考虑要不要亲自去!
+jwongyj 你可以走了。咱们一起去吧
Disney Dwayne, do you think a remastered original 2D/Cartoon version of Snow white could make this a good attraction?
Brandon Jinete Yes if they could keep it in the same flavour of the original, it would be fantastic!!
Disney Dwayne, I always had an nice idea of having a castle that would take you through scenes of each princess.
Brandon Jinete The castle was meant to belong to them all. And it's built so that the walkthrough can change. You can actually listen to my interview with the Imagineer of the walkthrough linked in the video.
The monthly rent costs must exceed millions.
I guess Disney doesn't own the land do they?
