i had a passion for art since childhood but my father couldnt afford to buy me art supplies hence i never got to practice art now im in my 30's and i bought few canvas and watercolor paint and started practising art and its my dream to have a art room like this😔

My mom was not keen on me going into the art field I got a job to get my art supplies. Back in the 70's they weren't cheap. I had brushes that cost $25 or more. Over 30 years later I'm still using those brushes. And many of my other supplies.

This is the part which I find to be the most satisfying part of this video. Personally, I don't prefer the outcome. I feel suffocated because of a bunch of designs almost everywhere, but I'm so happy for her because she made it to match herself. And I find that really, really satisfyingly beautiful.
I agree. Less is more! For instance, I loved the flower stickers on the sewing machine. I thought ok 3 max.....but then she kept going and it just made it look too busy. In my mind I said....no, stop, too much!
In the end its her space and am so happy it works for her.
Ever since this video was filmed my style and organization system has change drastically haha! No more tacky designs, but yes that is what made happy back then and the space that kept me inspired 💛 Thanks your kinds words!!

I’ve just decided to turn a small spare bedroom into my “craft cave” and I’ve watched waaayyyyy too many craft room re-do videos, but I have to say; your video resonated with me more than any of the rest of them! Something to think about is collecting glass jars of brands that you use a lot to hold you craft supplies. No additional cost, and sustainable. Love your video!! It’s so cute!

Great Job! Here’s a tip I learned from my grandfather to double your storage with the jars. Take the lids and screw them to the underside of the shelf then you can hang another set of jars!

If the crafters I know put everything into pretty matching boxes, things would remain hidden in the boxes. You have to see what you've got to use it. Can't resist a sale. Now they are in the way like everything else. 😒
@@lucygray6162 I know what you mean. I can't tell you how many times I've double-purchased things bcuz I didn't see what I already had. I think this is best for ppl that don't have as much stuff tho. Plus, they're great for other rooms in the house.

When you put the flower slickers on your sewing machine I thought Brady bunch
Me too. But I didn’t like it, the reason why is that I thought putting stickers on the machine made it look fussy and distracting. When I’m sewing personally I wouldn’t appreciate the loud colours and shapes distracting my concentration. I understand she was doing this to make it feel more ‘her’ in her craft room and each to their own. I just prefer less cluttered look. But she did a great job with her room and good video to explain.
