- I was fed a Full English Breakfast Challenge from an ACTUAL full-sized shovel at a place called Stuffed by Cartright in Stourbridge, England! Hungry diners have only 30 minutes to finish the "Shovel It Down" challenge which consists of a shovel full of hash browns, bacon, sausage, black pudding, and mushrooms, along with eggs, toast, beans, fry-bread, tomatoes, and chips! Winners earn a groovy t-shirt and a spot up on Stuffed's iconic Wall of Fame!

I love how you can do a food challenge and still hold a conversation, and manage to not wear the food. If it was me I would get tomato or beans on my shirt for sure. I wish you and Randy the best on your tour.

Interesting you mentioned “Big Hoss” and the Ponderosa there for the challenge. The family name on Bonanza was the same as the restaurant- Cartwright . First time I’ve seen a crowd almost turn on you just for putting jam on toast! And y’all were literally stuck in a corner. You would have to use the shovel to dig yourself out of that mess. I used to be a can lad in the 60s for the Irish navies and I used the shovel to cook thier steaks, and eggs etc no prob and I ate very well

I do have to say, ive seen these hash browns in a few videos and ive never seen anything like them anywhere. They look so incredibly good, I wish something similar was available around here.
Yeah they look amazing. Randy and Katina have both commented on how much better both the sausages and hash browns are over there.
Strawberry jam on a bacon, fried egg, and cheese sandwich is actually realllly good. My wife turned me on to it. I thought it sounded crazy at first until i tried it. 🥓 🍳 🧀 🍞 🍓
All the people I know from the Netherlands do that but replace the bacon with ham.
I am surprised you would do a challenge where you have to pay for the meal even if you win. That is NOT good advertising for that place and I would never go there even if they were next door to my home. As usual, you were fantastic, entertaining and a joy to watch. Thanks Katina for what you do; Randy is a very lucky man.

Much as you shouted her out, how come you didn't do any challenges with Leah? Just curious. She's an incredile eater and surprised you wouldn’t have or had hers. I would think also too: any woman who can eat that much and do their thing would just automatically help support other women doing it. It's definitely a male dominated field because men can normally take down food more so than women. But I think you can give more example of women who can by supporting them. And doing challenges with them. Just putting that out there. I am a humble subscriber. Xo

Monte Cristo is Ham, Turkey , Cheese … battered bread and fried… sometimes served with jam for dipping. No eggs are in the sandwich 😊❤

At its core, the Monte Cristo is made as a double or triple decker with ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese. The assembled sandwich is then dipped into an egg batter or custard and pan fried or deep fried until golden. In the Southern United States, it also sometimes includes a crunchy breading, such as crushed corn flakes.
An egg/jam/bacon sandwich IS delish! 2 slices of bread or toast, lightly buttered jam on the egg side bacon on the egg, sooo good :)

Fried bread and jam I can understand, especially if it’s deep fried rather than cooked in the bacon / sausage grease. But egg and jam? I feel like a line has been crossed ha ha!

I totally would have started with the toast and eggs, and finished them. I hate cold eggs and cold chewy toast! But everything did look delicious, and you managed to enjoy it, entertain, and complete it all in under 30 minutes!

I have NEVER heard a jam and eggs sandwich callers "croque monsieur" (which is a ham and cheese toasty) or Monte Cristo (which is cheese, ham and turkey with jam)... But egg and jam sounds pretty decent.

Hey Katina! This is the 1st of your vids where I've watched multiple versions (on your recommendation.SPOILERS!) So, I think Leah may actually be a Tardis (bigger on the inside!😂) This was backed up by Randy's excellent attempt to beat her, but getting a well earned 2nd. But, I really love your vids, and now I know why. You go for the win, not for the record (usually) and the result is a vid where we feel like we're out on a date or with a friend who REALLY loves to eat! You should of tried the Desperate Dan cow pie Challenge at Mad O’Rourke’s Pie Factory in Tipton as well while you guys where in the Black Country it was only 6 miles away from Stourbridge
In the Royal Air Force vernacular, what you actually indulged in is called an Egg Banjo. Imagine the egg and toast sandwich in your left hand, you take your first bite and the runny yolk drips on your shirt. Your immediate reaction would be to hold the sandwich up and left with a straight left arm, and with your right hand make wiping (strumming) motion down your chest to remove the dripped yolk. To all watching, you would look like you're playing an imaginary banjo, ergo it is called an Egg Banjo.
Katina, in terms of food combinations, some of which you may have come across in the UK, so the obvious ones first, turkey and cranberry, pork and apple sauce, beef and horseradish, pork pie and branston pickle, lamb and mint sauce, cheese and jam (edam, gouda, or Emmental, and strawberry jam) and I can thoroughly recommend sausages and marmalade, which I first had at school 4 decades ago and have been enjoying ever since.
