- Malcolm decided to switch things up a bit and acquired some brand new Puma Suede XL! What do you guys think about skating shoes like this?! We also included a couple of bonus early 2000s catalogs for you guys!

@Golden Era Collector. I take it your under 35. Back in the early 80s, PUMA CLYDE'S, SUEDE'S were one of the OG HIP HOP creps. We all wore Pumas, Shelltops for B-boying. In the early 80s phat laces was the only laces to wear. It was all part of the B-BOY look along with creased levi 501 & a Levi jacket with Graff on the back or a PUMA tracksuit, a KANGOL bucket hat, Carter sunglasses. It was a amazing time bombing subways, walls & Breaking. Theve done the XL with Adidas Shelltops as well. I love the New XL thing & will deffo be copping both the Pumas & Shelltops XL. I still rock both & with Phatties in! ☮️PEACE!

And yes.. fat laces were an 80's hip hop thing. Watch Beat Street.
I used to love short sleeve button up's back in the day... I had a blue checkered one just like in the Element catalog, it might have been a TSA one if my memory is right...TSA was tight too

I had a pair of the red suede ones back in the early 2000s and they skated so good. I blew through them in about a week but thats because i liked the way they skated so much.
I love how us 90s kids never grew up, we’re still stuck in 90s/2000s lol I just got a pair of these and with my style they screeeaamm deftones and korn. I freakin love it 😎

Are these as wide on the inside of the midfoot as they look on the outside? I have pretty low arches and wide feet and these look bang on to my foot shape. I just need to get around to trying them.

i had navy frankenclydes, the were comfortable and stylish but not good for skating. i think i like the classic puma suedes the best but they suck for skating too. these are kinda sick
