      @@grinningdemonz28 that is not how I would choose a liter sport bike, not in how much comfortable it is, but rather how effective it is on track. And the rsv4 has been in the top spot in all kind of testing since it was released.
      It won for three years the sbk world championship, when Aprilia was participating with it’s team (2010-2015), with Biaggi and Guintoli. The first title was won the same year it was released, straight from the factory to the podium.
      Furthermore the difference of price between the stock configurations is only 300$, I would buy a rsv4 instantly! (Twice the price huh?)
      And in the stock configuration, for 17 grand the Suzuki doesn’t have a tft screen, but a poultry LCD (only one in the market), and it doesn’t have half of the regulations that the rsv4 has (engine position on the frame, swing arm pivot position, rear tire position, and the electronics, with engine brake regulation, 6 customizable maps, cruise control etc, I’m surely forgetting something).

      @@lhdrones1775 yea if I had unlimited money I'd go with the RS4 too, but I don't. RS4 on Aprilia's website is $28,000 estimated, that means probably even more. GXR1000's new are in the the $14-16K range and much much cheaper used. Most of Yammie's viewers are new bike riders and probably wouldn't want to spend $28,000 for a pretty much track only bike.

    The electronic suspension does its trick being comfier or racier at the touch of a button and that is fantastic on tje street, and also being able to set it up in manual mode without tools, just touching buttons. On an track with the traditional suspension decently set-up for that track a regular rider wont know the difference

  • @SteveC-Shaman
    @SteveC-Shaman 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I can tell you why the 7K is worth it, especially on street: You get on it and ride. Done. No need to set the suspension up, it's doing all of that for you including setting up the proper sags. You felt it moving around underneath you because it was likely set up for the conditions - cold and damp wants that mode. And if you'd ridden it harder it would have gradually stiffened up. If you're a racer, do you want it? Probably not, you want the suspension to do exactly what you want all the time and you're likely messing with ride height etc. to make geometry goals. But for the road absolutely, you can ride that bike in an optimised setup all the time and they just work every ride out without turning a wrench or making riding compromises.

      Both the RSV4 and the RSV4 Factory come in south of 30, with it being 16-17K and 25.5K respectively. Performance wise, in a straight line your going to beat most bikes off the line, but might fall short when it comes to the top end speed. The RSV4 platform absolutely slaughters corners at high speeds, so when it comes to track/street racing, your going to win if you know how to handle it. I’d say the RSV4 is highly comparable to the ZX10R, for a similar price point, it’s a very compelling package. The RSV4 Factory is more expensive, and if your looking at street only, it might not be worth the extra mark up, with that being said, it is more powerful, and it’s a fantastic bike, if your looking for a track bike, it’s the one

    About 2 years ago a lot of "Track Guys" said the electronic suspension on the Panigale V4 wasn't worth it when testing the bikes out ON THE TRACK so they stuck with base model. But a lot of dudes on the street said the electronic suspension is worth it and can feel the difference if they have it when out on the street. I wonder if the situation is the same with this bike. You might want to make a vid comparing the 2 on the street.

    Speaking of meaningless performance, when hector barbera got on his s1000rr in motoamerica, they had to tune down the power because he couldn't ride the thing. And he is a professional. I think most supersports have more power than the rider has the skill to use.
