    For me it was the Reasonable Doubt album. I was around 17 when that came out. I had a regular job, came from a good family, had no reason at all to want to trap. But when that album was pumpin in the hood, I just wanted to get money selling dope. That album among others influenced me as a teen.

    Was just in Tone Talks comments talking about the effect of rap on our youth. Its crazy cause we all dance and get excited to the anthems of young black males demise as they endure violent upbringings, neglect, and misguidance. And as we do it we fail to realize that is really someones life or atleast something they have been exposed to the shit ain right it fucks us up. I love the music and listen to it this day but now I am old enough and have the experience to take it as a grain of salt and not take it out of context alot of our youth dont get that chance.

    In the early 90's their was more of separation of roles back then, so there were less what we called ballers. I was hustling at 14 teen in the South before alot of these types of songs came out. The movie Scarface, New Jack City, Sugar Hill and Boyz N the Hood kind of influence niggaz from my hood a lot more. As far as music "Dopeman" by NWA started off. Then music like 8 ball MJG "Mr. Big" - UGK "Pocket Full of Stones" - But when P came out it is true everyone wanted to be the Boss.
