Hi, for WP holder, after submitting your documents for ROM, how long did the approval take? Also, after you submit documents, will MOM contact your employer to notify them? My gf and I work in the same company and married couples not allowed to work in same department. So I'm wondering if MOM will contact your employer to inform that you have submitted the documents for ROM? How long did the process take from the moment you submitted you documents online, to the date you signed your ROM? Thanks

Hi, Mahesh Ranasinghe, Apart from WP and ex WP which requires them to ask permission from MOM in order to ROM to marry a local or SPR and FDW which cannot get married at all to local or SPR, I am not sure about student pass holder
I would err to the side of caution and seek permission from MOM before you register yourself for marriage. MOM and ICA might see this is a marriage of convenience hence you have to be sure and get it in writing before walking down the aisle
