Lots of videos like this. What truly drives me crazy is when you are in the middle of a repair and need to see a video of how to complete what you are doing and some damn fool wants to show you himself playing with his new kitten when the video is supposed to be about removing a frozen counter shaft nut.
Tip….Grind the tops of the pins down to the surface of the chain side plate with a grinder before using the chain breaker. It’s then much easier to push them through the side plate. Also less chance of damaging the chain breaker.
@@BorderPaps I guess center to slightly forward, this will give you adjustment in both ways, Not sure regarding chain stretch though as further back gives you less adjustment as the chain stretches.
sir. my xr 125 yr model 2013 i think has a problem, early morning when i start the engine it feels good but when the engine gets hotter it started to cut the force of the engine when i rev it. what can i do for that please help me anyone knows the solution please help me.
That’s clips no good. You know you had mentioned that needs to be in a certain direction What if you roll your bike backwards out of the trailer or on the driveway.
Nobody has a chain tool hate these tutorials they're always using these goofy tools that none of the general public wants to buy when you just take a grinder and grind the pins off the plate and then punch the pin thru
Most of these are poorly worded comments. That are mean/rude some even sarcastic. They will stop making these videos if people keep this attitude up...
I’m glad y’all fast forwarded through the important parts 👍
Right. 😂
Did a whole video on how to cut the chain and skipped the part where he cut the chain good job guys
Brad Coumbs he didn’t have to cut it
@@chriswebb383 It was in the title !!!!!!!!

That’s how I did lmao 😂
Awesome video! Been some years since I changed a chain. This helped refresh and prevent me from miscutting! Thank you!
You have got to be kidding me. You fast forwarded through the hard part. JFC

So where do you set wheel before you decide where to cut chain ?? All the way forward...back...centered ?
I know. He said set it where you want it. Where do you want it?

How do you know you chain is toast... my markers are right on the last markers is it Tim to change the chain or am I good for now ?
How do you know what type of chain is on bike ? 420 or 428
Usually a 428
It’s a 520
Will 520 120 links fits 520 114 links kawasaki 650
Is it safe to run 2 master links?
You'd need Master and Commander links.
In the actual cutting of the chain , the video was so fast that it was not clear how it was done.
i changed the rear sprocket from 49 to 43 how many links do i take off?
Kevin Stearns you will know adjust the chain tension before you break the chain apart bro then measure just like dude did in the video
Nice camera work fellas👍
Thanks for the video.
Lol you do know 90% of the people watching this don’t have a chain cutter

Sounds like it's running too lean.
This dude always knows his shit
Honestly good quality but needed the part you fast forward
My chain breaker just broke itself not the chain😂😂😂😂
I resorted to bolt cutters because I’m a dumbass and don’t have chain cutters.
Only came for master clip install because it's a pain and I couldn't see anything he did, good job 😂👎
Wish I watched this before attempting to do it myself lol oh well to princess auto I go
