The High Council - Ray Steadman-Allen

The New York Staff Band perform "The High Council" by Ray Steadman-Allen at the band's 129th annual festival held on March 19, 2016 at the Centennial Memorial Temple.
The High Council is the name for the group of top leaders of the international Salvation Army who gather to elect each new Army General. This march was written at the request of the then Chief of the Staff, Commissioner Arnold Brown, to welcome the august group who met in 1974. Songs featured are the World for God, We're the Army, and Bound for Canaan's Shore.
