If the three cylinder ran at 1/3 the RPM of the one cylinder, then the efficiency of 3 cylinders would be equal to one cylinder however you would be able to measure the improved efficiency of using three cylinders instead of a single cylinder from the difference of the three cylinder RPM verses that of 1/3 of the single cylinder
Dude if someone just made four of the second one and attach all the air ways to one at the middle you could make a car! (And if you found a way to control the suction you could control the speed and if you reverse suctioned you’d be able to reverse)😳✊😎🏎

i made a working prototype of the second engine with another one stacked right under it (180 degree offset connected with chains or gears) which takes the exhaust of the top engine, its great i think you should build one but be sure to change the crankshaft to be 2 studs instead 3 and put it 1 stud higher on the piston's axle as the timg would be messed up!!!
it does matter because you want the vacua e powering all the pistons because if you only power one it will not be able to turn the other two so connecting the hoover to all three it makes more power

how can the second engine work if there is no valve at all?If you make a piston and put a vaccum above,it wont spin,it will just be pulled on the top and stay,it wont spin😂
@@reesemolloy6109 The piston's angle is so the mechanism could work. It acts like a valve itself. Without the angling, the engine wouldn't work. Remember, it's an engine which doesn't have any valves.

I use a standard house vacuum and it does good, if you wanted to make like a 4 cylinder vacuum engine then you may wanna use a shop vacuum

It would be better if you used a lego tyre in the vacuum mouth for a better seal. (Tested by myself)

I BUILT ONE!!! This design works for four cylinder as well, it didn’t work for me until I oiled it!

Btw the top piece Dosent matter because all the pistons are attached though the drive shaft it would move it all but it does look cool

look at the 1:16 and 1:29, it's explained in captions, basically the piston tilts when it's at the bottom, acting as a simple valve
