You're really a pro packer to be able to squeeze all that in! I don't think I could pack a box & then unpack it, but I'm thankful there's people like you who do! 😃 I'm excited for you on this adoption journey - I know you'll be a great mom! 💕
Thanks for watching! We know parenting will be hard and made harder still by whatever situations our kiddos will have endured. But we are really excited to be parents!
I packed mine already! It’s up on my TH-cam channel. I think I had a glitch on my channel and not many people saw it 🙃 it’s titled Reptiles and Amphibians. I tried to copy the link here, but TH-cam wouldn’t let me 🤷🏻♀️
I double-checked the width of my (Canadian) box, and it's only six inches or 15.3 cm. Our Canadian boxes are one inch shorter and one inch narrower than American boxes. Robynn, I know how much you like large boxes to fit in lots of goodies, so it was great to see you accept the challenge of beautifully packing a Canadian box!
I think small boxes are just as important and just as impactful. They can be just a full with so many fun goodies. It was a fun fun challenge. To be honest I didn’t physically measure my box. I just looked up the measurements online. So thanks for clarifying for us.
Robynn, you did an amazing job packing a Canadian box American style. You Rock!!!! I love how t you o dress to match you box theme. 😊❤ I will continue praying for you guys as you travel tjis adoption road, especially for tomorrow at yall officially get going. Love y'all ❤
Oh wow!! I didn't know they were smaller. That is the boxes we have at our church. They are foldable just like that. Now I see why is was harder for me to pack mine compared to the people on YT. So, I guess I conquered this challenge years ago!
Fun packing challenge! I think those Canadian shoeboxes are the same size as the ones we used to have, before OCC started printing on corrugated cardboard. I still have one of those old boxes, and I had cut a slot in the top for donations of money. Sometimes I use smaller shoeboxes anyway, that children's shoes come in, and if we pack well and with wonderful items, they are just as good as what we sometimes put in larger boxes.
That sounds and looks like what the OCC GO boxes used to look like. They changed a few years ago to a larger and thicker box. I'm a drop off location leader and we do still get some off the older, smaller boxes dropped off.
Awesome packing job! I saw pens with all of those moveable parts at Walmart in the back to school section, in a stand-alone display with other novelty items. I think they are priced at $1.98. I am so impressed that you packed that huge bag of items into a smaller box! Praying for you on your trip tomorrow! God bless!
It always amazes me how things fall into place. I look at the bag I have waiting for a box and think... this will never fit.... And it usually does. I don't know how it happens.
The American boxes used to be smaller. They probably send the old ones to Canada. I always buy a box that fits my stuff. I don't necessarily buy the same size everytime.
Good job Robynn! Glad you took up the challenge. I forgot what items I sent you last year 😆. Dont forget that you can sneak a pencil in the notebook spiral to save a little more space 😉 So glad that you mentioned that you can put what ever is closest to a theme instead of the *exact* branded piece. One reason I like to pack dual themes. Less pressure to get all the perfect stuff 😆
Love this video as our UK OCC boxes are the same size as the Canadian ones ( and we don't have the OCC plastic boxes here) Our spiral notebooks are usually A4 size, which is 11.5 inches by 8 inches so they dont fit in our boxes. What size was the spiral notebook you packed? Even our colouring books are often A4 size so its a bit of a challenge to find notebooks and colouring books that fit. I used to wonder how Americans could get so much in their boxes until I realised the boxes were bigger in USA! You did great packing so much in. Its a great Sonic box. I love the tip about taping the ends- I didn't realise they could pop open. I will start doing that from now on. I also find the rear corners of our boxes seem to tear sometimes (probably due to me cramming so much in) so I already tape them up before I start packing.
Ditto on the frustration of A4 (printer paper) sized notebooks and colouring books. Here in Australia we have smaller OCC cardboard boxes too. And I have learned to tape my boxes; I place my tape on the outside. Would you believe, I could identify one of my boxes in a distribution event video because of the shine of the tape! The receiving child was so excited about what she found in her pencil case (pouch). I was equally excited to see that my box had arrived safely and intact.🎁
WOW! NICE WORK! I always enjoy doing a smaller box or two, just to challenge myself to fill a small box but make it really nice! A few years ago at the PC I know Pokemon items weren't allowed. Has that changed?
Hummm??? I haven’t heard anything for or against Pokémon. In my opinion it doesn’t break any of the USA OCC rules as of the last time I checked. I also have never been told no during my volunteering at Processing Centers. But I encourage you to reach out to OCC if you are concerned. ❤️😊
Hello, I'm pretty new to Finding out about OCC and I'd love you to talk about or do a video on how where you send or drop off boxes I live in South GA the nearest OCC warehouse to me is like 4 or more hours from me in North/ south Carolina so how do I send my boxes to them I've looked up to see if I could get information on drop off places but it doesn't pull any up for my area so could I send the boxes through post office ?? But that would cost extra I'm sure. How do I go about finding a closer drop off location please Help I really would love to make / put together shoeboxes with my boys.
Hi Amber! Welcome to the world of OCC!!! National Collection week is typically the 3 week of November. There will be drop off locations all over the USA typically at a local Church. The website will be updated closer to collection week so you can search your local area to find the location closest to you. We typically all store our boxes year round and turn them all in at once during this week. I hope all this helps and I’ll be sure to mention it in my next OCC video. Welcome to the OCC family!!!
Amber, usually the OCC website has the dropoff locations listed sometime in October; I'm sure there will be one or more near you. I pack shoeboxes for the children and store them in my basement or in unused corners in my house until the national collection week, which is the full week before Thanksgiving. Happy packing!!
You're really a pro packer to be able to squeeze all that in! I don't think I could pack a box & then unpack it, but I'm thankful there's people like you who do! 😃 I'm excited for you on this adoption journey - I know you'll be a great mom! 💕

Great packing, Robynn! Love your theme!
Thank you so much! Can’t wait to see yours!!!

Will be praying for you two during this journey. Blessings and travel safe tomorrow.
Thank you so much! It’s not to far of a commute. About a 45 min drive and that is a typical commute here in the DFW. (Everything is 45 min away. 🤪)
You did great packing the smaller box! He will love all his goodies! Have fun at your training session. How exciting! Thanks for sharing! 😊😊🙏
Thanks so much!! Such a fun blue Sonic box for this lil buddy!! Excited for our training. 🧢🩵🚙
Great ideas for space saving in boxes. ❤❤❤
It's not always easy but i can be so much fun!
Super awesome! I love Sonic and just watches today the Season 2 finale of Sonic Prime, ao great timing! 💙 💙 💙🦔 💙 💙 💙
Oh cool, what a fun coincidence.
Amazing you can make anything fit anywhere lol what a blessed little boy God bless from New Mexico ❤
You are so kind! I feel like each box packs itself. It tells me what goes in and how it all fits. 🩵
Awesome Packing
Thanks so much!!!

The Canada and US boxes are different sizes.
Great job, Robynn. I am impressed 😊
Thank you! 😊 Now I need to go watch your Barbie Box!

Yes small boxes can be just as impactful as large ones!!!

Good to know they have changed!

Any shoebox ish sized box is A-ok in my book!!! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for such a fun challenge!!!! Apparently Canadian boxes are the same size as UK boxes. #GodSaveTheKing. 🇨🇦🇬🇧
@@mattmanandrobynn 🤣
Praying for you!
❤️❤️❤️ Thanks!!
That pen with the spinning arms on it is also at my local Walmart.
Awesome! Did you pick it up for your box?

Our standard spiral notebooks 📒 in the USA are 7.5in x 10.5in (19 x 26.6 cm) and a composition notebook 📓 is 7.5in x 9.75in ( 19 x 24.76 cm)

Robyin please let us know how you all are doing. We miss your wonderful videos.
Im doing good! I just uploaded a new video
I don't see the links for stores you mentioned.
What size shirt would you pick for a boys 10-14?
I try to pack the box for the size of the oldest age of the box. so for 10-14 I pack a child's L-XL or an adult XS-S
Can you please tell me how to buy the ikea boxes online?
I'm sorry I am just now getting to you. Unfortunately the Ikea boxes have been discontinued.

What about the children that's 15 to 17 don't they get xmas
hats up to Samaritans purse and the local missionaries
You take too much time to tell us that one box is smaller that the normal US one.
Sorry about that.
