That's what fishing is all about having a great day out fishing and taking one or two for the table. It was nice to see some fish go back. Well done mate. 👍
heading down to the beara peninsula in the morning 4 a week and cant wait,that video definetly whetted the appetite!!!! love fishing off the rocks there..
Thankyou for sharing this information. I followed your advice and used a similar kind of set up with the firetail jelly worm and managed 15 pollack off Beara peninsula in Ireland last week. Most were around 1.5 kilo, one or two about 0.5 kilo and two at three kilos, fished over a two day period at same location. Again many thanks. Jean
Nice to see someone catch fair sized fish like that from the shore! I've started using soft plastics with a small jig head recently but not much luck at the moment as I don't really know the areas around here that well for best feeding time or tide etc. Do you use braid as your main line? I've been told that this can enhance the bite sensation so I'm going to also give that a go. Tight Lines matey.
been trying this a lot lately in northwest scotland with the firetails and rigs like this over kelp at flooding tides and just not getting very much, i let them sink and reel them in steady at slow/medium speed, i seem to have better luck with lighter toby's and wedge lures, though my best fish lately was on a green jelly worm with a glow in the dark green bead and small ball leger infront by the hook. anyway not sure if im doing something wrong with the firetail + weight rigs, bad luck or just the fish dont come to those marks any more.
In Busan, it's only fishing from the cliff - about 50 meters from the water table. Plenty of catches for all anglers of the world. Lots of health and joy to all ☺
hello, nice fishing... i wanted to ask about the method of ur fishing with the weight u put before lure . my question is , after u cast, u wait until the weight sink deeply?,i mean until the ground of the water and then starting to reel ? or u just cast and wait ? thanks alot
hi there! I`m living for the moment in Scilly Islands, a very good place for pollock fishing. Unfortunately I don`t have any equipment with me, and I`m new in sea fishing. What kind of gear should I buy? Reels, rods, lures, line, etc?. Thank you and do more videos :)
@forest313131 Dakujem. Pre mna jednoznacne no.1!
A kedy chytáš?
Mimo prílivu a odlivu ťažko niečo chytíš...
WTF.My friend,I think you have got a problem with yourself...I like nature and fishing itselfs and I enjoy it wherewer I go.If I meet people like you,I just lough:-)))Why dont you take your lazy ass and go to enjoy nature to Slovakia e.g. And now...kiss my ass:-)))

Hi, thanks.
I used Shimano, 3.00mlong with casting weight 20-80g, but now i'm using 3.00m and 40-100g.It is easier to take out bigger fish.
@palmer3977

Nice Pollock !
Great bit of video. I love pollack fishing but we don't get many in Sussex.
Fajn video. Su aj ine nastrahy, ktore pouzivas take ucinne, alebo su long worms najlepsia volba?
Very nice video .

You will need a longer rod. Mine was shimano catana 3,3m long with casting weight up to 40grams. Reel no 40-50 and I used braided line 0,32mm
Good vid

Nice, a landing net would help.
Are you fishing catch and release ?
Graty ladny pollock
Where was this? Are the rocks easy to get to? I've just moved to West Cork and would like to give this a try.
Hi. It is quite difficult to get there. You have to be carefull.
It is between Dunworley and Seven heads. Ale places are good over there... 😉
catch and release thats what i like to see, nice fishing man
I spin for sea bass a lot
im 11 and the biggest sea bass i caught was a ten pound two ounces i heard its great for big pollock in west cork
wow many times i thought that your rod was gonna break
I have caught a 13 pound pollock from MOLDE , NORWAY

@gcalley1
Hey mate, thanks:-}They are very nice...White meat, almost no bones and no strong fishy taste...
what weight of line do you recommend is 15lb ok
I’d put a 20lb leader on the end if the rocks are sharp then ur good to go!
@forest313131
Nazdarek.
