ALM MD-80 ! I can still feel the thrust of its JT8D which made us get off the ground while we were standing at the fence to Juliana as we were children.
@yelin190194 I was wondering the same thing - I found info on airliners . net: Apparently Iberia had a mini-hub at Miami which allowed connecting flights from Spain to have stop-overs, or just continue on at MIA. They operated to caribbean destinations mainly (SDQ, CUN, MEX) etc..They were EC-CTR, EC-CTT, EC-DGB and EC-BQV (DC9-32). Air France did a similar thing with a 737 from MIA to Port-Au-Prince and other Caribbean destinations.
Everytime I see one of these videos, it's like the aviation version of 'Back to the Future'. Some of the airlines that are no longer around, had much better service and were great carriers but politics and greed permeated the industry and took it in a direction that ruined it for good.
I feel happy to be a human when there is such great video to see
The golden age of aviation. Now every aircraft looks the same.
Unparallelled orgy in old steel, JustPlanes style!Absolutely gorgeous,Thank you.
