To be clear though, it's not just you. I had that question asked over and over on my channel as well. (in more tasteful words) But to my viewers defense, I don't show nomad women very often on my channel. So, they all assume I have a new girlfriend. Notoriously, I'm the same as you when it comes to "hiding" my significant other on my channel. I do that to keep that person safe. If I were dating another nomad who was ok with the public attention and harshness, that would be different. I'm glad you and I are friends. Hope to become better, closer friends. If ya change your mind about doing the dirty, lemme know. 😉

Hi Amber, several YT channels I follow really got “burned out” in 2020/2021 from creating content. Many cut their videos from daily to 1-2 a week. I follow some that we’re constantly on the move. Though, it’s entertaining for the viewers the creator can’t actually enjoy (IMO) the trip/journey bc they have to constantly record. Stay safe. Stay warm.

I've read that change is one of the most stressful experiences for people, so I wonder if being nomadic and having to move often would be the stressor that would kill the joy. I spent hours searching online for just the right light fixtures for our current house. Growing up in a small town 50+ years ago it was “Do you want the square or the round glass cover for the ceiling light?”

Thanks for sharing your experiences, good and bad. I have a question about your bootcamp. How much of the content is applicable to part-timers? We are not going to do full time. Our van is on order but we have not even had a configuration meeting, so we are a long way off of *any* van experiences unless we rent.

Interesting Q and A. I also find it interesting that people assume when you are hanging out with someone it’s romantic. I’m a married woman with a 12 year old son and some of my closest friendships throughout my life has been with men. And my husband is cool with that fact about me. Thanks for sharing your life. Great video Amber. I really enjoyed the Q & A. It was informative and fun. I prefer smaller groups, I feel anxiety with large groups. We should do this again. Your hair looks amazing. If your near Yuma, places you might enjoy are Hot Springs it looks like a great oasis with different pools they look spectacular. Daves RV life went to Holtville Hot Springs just off the highway looked so good.
I totally understand being a bit conservative and hesitant re: large groups, @Story Chasing. I have pre-existing autoimmune conditions that are not compatible with this plague. My expectation is that, later this year, we’ll be able to move out from under this last 2year’s experience and so we can join others, together, in the same location, much more easily and with less or no concern. That’s what the science is suggesting, anyway. My hopes are high. Take care and Happy 2022!!
If you want a tiny home base, check out Incredible Tiny Homes I Newport, Tennessee. I love their work ethic and although they can build anything, the newest homes are steel panel (ESP) homes. They have three styles in production and are rated as RVs. The smallest is 8 x 16. This would make an excellent "landing zone". They are also offering rental spaces with purchase of homes in one of their four communities. Please tell them I referred you. BTW, I just found you today and I have been watching a lot of your videos. Easy listening and good content.

Our van is on order but we have not even had a configuration meeting, so we are a long way off of *any* van experiences unless we rent.

Interesting Q and A. I also find it interesting that people assume when you are hanging out with someone it’s romantic. I’m a married woman with a 12 year old son and some of my closest friendships throughout my life has been with men. And my husband is cool with that fact about me. Thanks for sharing your life. Great video Amber. I really enjoyed the Q & A. It was informative and fun. I prefer smaller groups, I feel anxiety with large groups. We should do this again. Your hair looks amazing. If your near Yuma, places you might enjoy are Hot Springs it looks like a great oasis with different pools they look spectacular. Daves RV life went to Holtville Hot Springs just off the highway looked so good.

I totally understand being a bit conservative and hesitant re: large groups, @Story Chasing. I have pre-existing autoimmune conditions that are not compatible with this plague. My expectation is that, later this year, we’ll be able to move out from under this last 2year’s experience and so we can join others, together, in the same location, much more easily and with less or no concern. That’s what the science is suggesting, anyway. My hopes are high. Take care and Happy 2022!!

If you want a tiny home base, check out Incredible Tiny Homes I Newport, Tennessee. I love their work ethic and although they can build anything, the newest homes are steel panel (ESP) homes. They have three styles in production and are rated as RVs. The smallest is 8 x 16. This would make an excellent "landing zone". They are also offering rental spaces with purchase of homes in one of their four communities. Please tell them I referred you. BTW, I just found you today and I have been watching a lot of your videos. Easy listening and good content.
