There also company called Diamond Blades, they hv top of blade 35~45 or rockwell, Bottom edge is like 65 or higher, surface ground type procedure, freakin Wicked D2!! No need fa m390! Love videos like this explaining the design, having the creator in his own words describe what it was like to come up with the concept and in what frame of mind he was puttng himself in to create all the different elements. Great job Greg, love it, and hope to own one of your knives some day!
I am a machinist and my hat is off to you sir and I am saving this vid to my knife making play list because sir your words are inspirational and I personally want to say thank you for taking the time to make it and thank you for cultivating your skill set in such a way to be able to inspire young knife makers such as my self and by all means please continue to make functional tools that double as art
I’m a little confused, is it not in the infamous Medford packaging letter that prohibits any prying? And yet Greg says in this vid that you could wedge a door with it?
Intense design by an intense knife maker. I need the best quality tools that can be had, given what I've seen these appear to be well thought out and purpose built. Ordered my first Medford knife this week.
One thing I love about the design is the ergonomics of the breaker. My experience, it rests against your thumb very comfortably in a revere style grip. If you need use it in that way. Conventional grip is comfortable enough but reverse grip, something about it. Small thing, but makes the design that much better.
these simply are the nicest looking knives on the market all my favorite have a bit of the same look im thinking the pimpsqeak big blade narrow handle just love it
Love everything about it ! These knifes are just some proper pieces of art. 🤘 And I do hope you will read my message eventually, because I'd really like to know your honest opinion about this : which one do you prefer between the drop point and the tanto blade, and why ?
@@IHATEJEREMYMOCK I know it sounds harsh, but we are just trying to protect the customers, the product and us...but ultimately Greg does want you to use your knives. A lot of people disassemble our knives and nothing ends up happening, but in many instances the disassembly leads to more problems that we ultimately have to fix.
Thats the point ...this knife doesn't need to be disassembled after prying a door. I here Spyderco lets you disassemble their knives after you pry a door open ( Or open your mail ,...lol )

I love this knife, but the one I’m most interested in, is the 187. That will be my first Medford knife.
