Very well done on the explanation. It took me less than 15 min to remove the screen. Thank you!

Hi, great video. I have problem with disconnecting the hazard light switch. What is the trick to pull out the plug?

You need to move it around and pull it out. Grab the black plastic portion not the wires to pull it out. A small flat screw drive might help you also.

Thanks for the very detailed and instructional video! My Display Monitor is very dim and difficult to read during daylight, so I was preparing to remove and send for repair. But when searching to locate and access the two retaining screws located at the bottom behind the display monitor, by partially closing the monitor to expose them, the display monitor now no longer returns or stays completely upright when opening automatically. Is there some way to correct that?

Same thing happened to me, i'm still trying to find a solution, but nothing...

@@marinoviviani8524 The solution should be very simple. From BMW TIS:
The angle of inclination of the CID can be set by hand.
E87 only: When it is closed, the CID saves the last position. The next time it is folded open, the last position saved by the CID is assumed.
Only E89: The CID always opens completely, even if the angle was manually adjusted beforehand.
