These 3 hour RAWs will be good cause there wont be any censorship on Netflix, that's also the reason why raw will be moved from tv to Netflix around the world.
@@Shyguy9231hate to break it to you there's still going to be the same number of commercials as before maybe even more they have to make their money somehow😂
RAW on Netflix is really looking like a mini Ple, and the three hour format is really interesting, but any way, I want to see where it goes and I hope its successful 🙏

@@CraigBarker-r9iThey don’t grasp the concept that if there are less options…..the prices will just rise. The prices have already gone way up….so I don’t know why they can’t see it.
Im looking forward to 3 hours being back. Women have had like 1 match per episode usually and lots of names just go missing for a week or two. Bron Breakker has been most harmed.
With the Netflix deal. They might get better production too. The ratings thing. AEW is tv 14 and isn't ground breaking (no shade). But to be fair to WWE. WWE and AEW are two different companies We have never seen a tv 14 version of WWE in the modern era. But I agree with you, ratings doesn't matter.
Some fans who currently watch WWE on traditional television might not switch to Netflix to watch the same content One thing that is not in question is that for now wrestling fans located in the United States got the short end of the stick on this first of its kind deal between WWE and Netflix Here’s hoping some things get ironed out before RAW makes its final departure from network television In the meantime AEW & TNA Wrestling puts on a great show and at the time of publish is easy to find
I like the fact that WWE has that 3rd hour to work with. I heard that if WWE only needs like 2gr and 30min to get everything in then they’ll only be live for 2hr 30min if they need the 3hrs in full then they’ll do that. They have it as a buffer which is nice!
In regards to international markets like mine in the UK and Europe all WWE content Raw SmackDown NXT and the PLE's are going to be on Netflix and I believe the plan is for Netflix to eventually be the sole home of WWE
That is if Netflix is the highest bidder for the US rights. Peacock(NBC UNiversal) is still going to want to keep it as WWE has massively boosted their sub numbers.
Only Raw on netflix in the USA at the moment? Here in the UK and Ireland we're getting Raw, Smackdown, NXT , as well as the PLE's .. starting week commencing 6th Jan. This is why I pay £19.99 for netflix a month 👍
I am from India and I can say, in India we can also watch on Netflix but don't know about is it coming on TV or not. Its very complicated but let's see on 6 January how it comes?
i think they cannot go from raw to sd that ease as both are owned by different network already USA network blurred the Netflix logo in the ongoing shows
I wonder if you could do a part 2 where you talk about SmackDown and their move to 3 hours and all the attention that's being paid to Raw on Netflix. Will a superstars on SmackDown feel left out or slighted? I heard rumors a month or two ago but I have not seen any confirmation that a lot of NXT call-ups are going to happen since both shows will be 3 hours. I personally can't wait to see some of these NXT stars on the main rosters.
Wheezy, what do you think of RAW on Netflix? I think it’s gonna be great. I’m looking forward to seeing John Cena all the other superstars. Seth and I honestly honestly hope the rock shows up.
Right now I have both Netflix and Peacock. But I pretty much only use Peacock for WWE PLEs though. The move to Netflix'll allow me to cancel Peacock. Which is cool. A few extra cups of coffee per month!
Can't wait for the Netflix era!!! 3 hour Raws are gonna be so good there won't be any censorship around cuss words which is gonna be so good bc we've been having to deal with that for the past like 3 years now. Which means, we will now get to hear what the crowd says, we'll get to hear what the wrestlers are saying during their promos, etc. I'm also excited that Smackdown is moving to 3 hours. It'll be annoying cause USA censors out EVERYTHING, but I'm not worried about the censorship on USA.. Whatever the rating is, I'm still gonna watch. If it buffers on Netflix, that'll be annoying. I'm not gonna freak out if it buffers. And did you see that Cena cleared his entire schedule for next year? 👀
The debut episode of "RAW" on Netflix is among the most critical shows WWE has ever done. Why is this? Because WWE is being paid 500 million (!) per year to provide programming for Netflix and they have to justify that they "belong" at this level! Moreover, the NFL just aired two X-mas games and they both had super high ratings. Believe me, WWE leadership at all levels realizes and understands this and that is why you are going to see a Wrestlemania-level presentation on 1/6/25. Similarly, Netflix expects WWE to move the subscription needle as well; they (Netflix) are paying an enormous premium not to!
03:16 for example, I am an Italian fan of yours and of course of WWE, and we will continue with the same way as we are used to (so both Raw and Smackdown will still be on Warner Bros Discovery and the PLEs will still be on the WWE Network). This will be our situation for at least all of 2025
@mattia.morandi NO it isn't because they confirmed WWE Network is completely shutting down by January 1st. You are apart of Europe thus it goes to Netflix. ALso, WWE's deal with Peacock runs through 2026 and the rights beyond that have not been sold. NBCU is going to want to keep that.
I think people are underestimating the being live for almost 300 million subscribers worldwide and what that will do for WWE. I don't know if we see a big difference in the biggest market of the US but I think other markets will notice. Already talk of more live international PLEs airing live at the time that makes sense for that market. Which tells me these live international PLEs on peacock starting at noon in the US are getting great numbers. Those numbers on Netflix will be much better and I think help global growth.
Next week at least for smackdown Jan. 3 everyone outside the US is in limbo. Where I’m is Canada, since WWE programming is leaving the network that WWE airs on I not sure next weeks smackdown will be airing if it is going to be on WWE TH-cam page or not for everyone outside the US after hearing stuff about next WWE programming being in limbo, for least next week weeks Raw and NXT will still air on the network that that airs in Canada. I have heard what ever Tier of netflix you have you can watch WWE programming.
RAW will definitely get more than 2 million viewers on Netflix because it's gonna be global. The 2 million number is USA Network, which is US numbers only. Still, it's not gonna be 150 million people.
@@stingersplash I can see it being higher than that, considering how well the international events have been going. But yeah, nowhere near the 150M of the fight.
Well, WWE is not going to have anywhere near the number of viewers that Tyson/Paul had. WWE is also very experienced in streaming and know what their needs are.
I agree with you WB, I've been a pro wrestling fan since the 80s and from my standpoint WWE being on Netflix is a huge deal. Those of us that have traditionally turned to the USA Network for WWF/WWE will adjust as most of everyone has Netflix, As far as whether the programming being PG or PG-13--or whatever I feel like this is a non-story or a non-issue because pro wrestling at it's core has always been about story telling and when something calls for blood or "adult themes" it can be done. The Attitude Era was fun--don't get me wrong but unlike everything else in media and nostalgia why bring it back just for the sake of "because it was once cool?"---there's no need for it. Another core aspect of pro wrestling is putting over talent and making things in pro wrestling (belts, moves, etc) "mean something"---if every match has no rules, no DQ---match after match--what does it mean? Nothing. The audience gets numb and desensitized.
I want to know whats happening with all the old PPV"s. Im on Binge in Australia and i can watch every single PPV WWE has ever made. When it moves to Netflix WWE cant even tell me what's happening???
