If you use the green lyman corn cob media, after the brass is polished, there is a lot of green dust on the brass. Do most people dump the brass on a big cotton towel to get that off ?
I use a wet tumbler that works quite well, but can get messy. Also, drying the shells are a pain. Thinking about utilizing dry tumbling method. Did you have a before and after comparison?
Dry tumbling works well and you can go straight from tumbler to loading or case prep without drying. Note this method is way cheaper with less equipment needed!
I'm surprised only 30 minutes of vibrating got them so clean. My vibrator takes about two hours, with new media (corncob) and Dillon Rapid Polish.
I've noticed if I put a lot more brass in the tumbler, a lot less corncob media and more polishing compound, it can be done in less time.

I've used corn cob media for about 50 years - don't care for the dusty walnut media. Sometimes I dump a cap-full of Nu Finish in.
