  • This is the best product I put on my last Model Y. Not the easiest to install but worth every penny. This is the updated version that has sensors so it wont hit anything.

The sensor is a game changer. I had the Hansshow version (which had no sensors) a few years ago which worked perfect on one side then after 6 months quit working. The auto presenting door handles and soft closures have given me zero issues.

I drive my Model Y for Uber and this would be perfect, since more than half the people have no idea how to open the door.

and they also don't know how to close it softly as they only like to slam the doors shut, this would be ideal to stop that

It would be worth it to me if the product was for all 4 doors. I still think it’s a cool feature, only a matter of time before it becomes an oem feature. Great video as always. I’d ask you to do my install if I lived closer.

You can get the all 4 door option.

Cool feature but with all that disassembly, the interior Will mostly have more rattles and creeks ! Also I would be concerned how reliable those motors will last with the constant opening and closing of the doors especially after a few years

So I guess it’s safe to assume our warranty won’t cover it if the doors stop working although you can still use them manually hum🤷‍♀️🌸🌺🤙

Will the door stop (in the automatic closing mode) if you have your hand or finger in the way? I'm thinking about little kids.

Any idea why this is not available for refresh model S?

What if you park on the shoulder of a busy intersection where the driver's door open towards incoming traffic. How would that work? Can you manually open it normal?

I thought about that too. In a downtown area where cars are flying by and you need to open the door when no one is coming.

I would definitely be afraid to tackle that. Way to much involved.

Whole lot cheaper to teach your kids to close the doors.
