Thanks Ryan! That is awesome. We sincerely appreciate your support and hope you are proud to be in the #SubClub (or #ClubSub...still don't know which is right)
Hey Ryan how did the blend work for you? Is it a big difference in size between the pros and the cb? Do you think you could have done a full set of the CBs? Really looking into getting a set
Thanks Steve! At the end of they day we are definitely golf junkies that had an opportunity to do something we are really passionate about. Jason (our CEO) has been in the golf equipment business for 25+ years. Buyer's remorse on golf equipment, which for 99.9% of us is just a hobby, is awful. We want people to save money, play more golf, have more fun doing it, and hopefully play better as well. It's been a blast and we cannot explain how much we appreciate our customers and supporters
Absolutely thrilled to see you guys review these. I have been playing 699 irons and Sub70 wedges for 2 years now. Jason and his team do a great job and the products flat out perform. Glad to see your experience with the clubs match the surprise I had the first time I hit them.
Thanks Preston! Glad to hear you are enjoying the clubs. Save money, play more golf, and have more fun on the course with some awesome custom built golf clubs!
Ordered 699 Pros, 3 hybrid, Pro 3 wood & the mid-mallet putter through Sub70’s Canadian distributor. Irons were delayed by customs but should arrive soon. Took the clubs I received straight to the range. The hybrid & especially the 3 wood & putter are awesome. Tried CB, MB , 3 wood, 699 & 699pro demo clubs & they are all outstanding. Nice to get custom lengths (I’m 6’4”) & the specific shafts I want. Fantastic value!
Was waiting to buy these until they got your approval. Already in the cart. Also, shout out to Jason, the CEO, who personally answered my club fitting emails.
I was fitted 2 months ago and I called Jason (CEO of Sub 70). He recommended a set of 699s with Nippon Modus3 120 X-S and they have been absolutely spot on incredible. I got a few wedges, hybrids, and a 3 wood from them as well and have never played better golf.
Thank you for sharing that! Things have gotten crazy around here, and Jason is BUSY, but he absolutely LOVES talking to customers and trying to get them what they need. He will absolutely spend as much time as necessary with each golfer to try and figure out what the best options are. And we are ALWAYS willing to take clubs back to make tweaks and make them better if necessary. We truly appreciate your business and if you ever need anything please let us know!
@@golfsub70 I know you're serious! He was on the phone with me for over an hour. He even called me on a Saturday to finalize an order. He's incredible to deal with from a customers perspective.
really really good doesn't begin to describe the value you really get. These are customization from top to bottom in every aspect. You can't and won't beat what your money goes into for these, freaking amazing clubs
Got fitted for the 699s in late June and it was an awesome experience Dan did a great job fitting me which was tough because I’m 6’5” love them they are rockets off the face!!
Great review lads!!! I was looking for something new to rekindle my golf game a few months ago and came across Sub70 whilst searching online. Considering I am from Australia, I took the chance and contacted Jason directly to find out more. Given the time difference, we still managed to have a great chat on the phone where he gave me some wonderful advice on which direction I should go. I'm a single digit handicap and still hit the ball well, so I ended up ordering a set of the 699 Pros in black, along with a black forged wedge and a glove. Everything arrived well packaged and quite promptly given the distance. I've managed to have a few rounds with them, but unfortunately, we're back in covid lockdown. Spring starts next week and I am bursting to get back on the course with them, so hopefully we will be allowed out again soon. The clubs themselves are absolutely wonderful. First of all, they look absolutely amazing ( I have black recoils in them too) which is already a head start as they inspire confidence at address. The feel is great, they're forgiving yet workable, they interact with the turf well, on both sand belt and clay based ground and best of all, I find them a very consistent club to hit - I've already dialled in my distances with them and confident I have the right number in my hands when I take aim. I absolutely love them. I come from Callaway Apex 2014s and I find the 699 Pros just as good, if not better when it comes to consistency - not bad for clubs half the price. The 699 Pro utility has just come out, so I'll put in an order for one of those as well. I doubt if many people know about them down here in Aus, but hopefully that will change soon for the company. The people I have played with have certainly looked twice when I pull them out of the bag. I even managed to have my first hole in one with them, so I am forever indebted. I personally can't vouch highly enough for them - both the product which is awesome (especially for its price which was still great given the conversion rate) and the fantastic service provided by Jason and the team from the other side of the planet! I really can't recommend them highly enough, especially for people who want to try something different from the usual offerings.
I had a fitting with them recently since I'm local. The 639s both CB and MB were every bit as good feeling and performing as any CB or MB I've ever used
I game the 699s!!! I love expressing how much I love this company, their clubs, their customer service and all around offerings. 15/10 would recommend.
Thank you Tony! The 699s are our best selling product. A close friend of mine went from a 12 hdcp to a 4 hdcp this past year after switching to the 699s. He's put in a ton of work but will be the first to tell you that the equipment has helped significantly. If you ever need anything please let us know! Thanks again
@@BraidenBrousseau that's why you don't get fitted for $800 bro bro. At the kingdom you spend $200 to get fitted from taylormade techs who know their stuff. What you do, you go to a demo day for multiple manufacturers. Find the best shaft for you and get your data. Send it to sub70 and let them do their stuff ;)
@Braiden Brousseau Respectfully, a good fitting will tighten the shot dispersion, minimize contrast in mishits, and ideally increase distance. It’s kinda common sense that a fitting will allow for an individual to perform better. To what degree depends on the person. Some people’s club glides through the ground in an upright manner and they play standard. Big problem there
Just got a set of the 699 Pro Blacks! Can’t wait to take them out. As someone who’s played other high end brands and have a set of PTx Pro/ Icon Hogan combos, theses look as good as anything I’ve hit! Great review! Can’t wait to see the next video!
Good stuff as always. Your stamp of approval on up and coming brands means a lot. Nobody wants to play equipment that might be lacking. I live close enough to sub70 to consider a venture for a fitting. I plan to at least try out one of their 24 degree hybrids this season.
Love Sub70. I'm a 5 handicap and currently playing 60/56/50 in their wedges, PW-7 639MB Black, 6-5CB Black, & a 699 Pro Black 4 iron. Extremely happy with them.
Just added a Sub70 839-D driver to the bag. Still test driving it, but so far, so good. Easily 10-15 yards longer than my Callaway Epic (even on miss-hits). Absolutely the best customer service EVER from a golf company. Thanks Jason, and keep up the great work!
Cannot tell you how impactful this video was for me. I just got in my order of 699 Pros, they are incredible and I plan to phase out my old gamers and and build a real set through Sub70. Would never have made the leap without you boys at TXG
I am very pleased with the Sub70 699 Pro irons SW thru 6 iron and a 5 hybrid performance during last year's season. Sub70 is making a 60-degree wedge now for me. Their service and follow-up after the sale are excellent. Golf clubs should be and can be affordable if the companies did not have to spend so much money on marketing and sponsorships. I am hoping this Sub70 business model will be a great success. Their service and passion for quality and service from what I have experienced is excellent. Hopefully, their niche will not need to spend the money on marketing and sponsorships because their loyal customers will be driven like me to publically endorse the product. Way to go Jason Hiland, congrats to you and your Sub70 company!
I just received my 699 pros last week. Already taken about 1000 swings indoors and got out on the course for my first round with them today. Didn’t shoot sub 70 but shot sub 80 for first time in my life. I was between these and Hogan’s and what did it for me was I emailed both companies about a shaft question. Hogan emailed me back a few days later and said we Cary what is on the website. But sub 70 the CEO called my cell and spoke with me for 45 min answering questions. Thy sealed the deal for me. Also some options I wanted not on their website and they had no problem accommodating. I got the lofts weak a degree and a few extra wraps on the grip. Great service so far. Dealing with one last back and forth now. The product really performs too. Off center hits give feedback like I want but don’t penalize much. Like Matt sometimes I can own the low toe and these still go where I need them too. Great performance. Stunning looks. Great work!
This is what I love aboutTXG...you give us the info without any BS. Sub70 offers a great product at an amazing value....my like my beloved Ben Hogans. Keep such content coming gents....cheers!
There you guys go again! Thoughtfully testing new golf equipment from a small company and giving honest commentary. I have to pinch myself at times while viewing your content because it's really that good. Thank you!
I ordered my set of irons a few months ago and they are great! Amazing company to deal with as well. If I had ordered a big name brand with the custom shafts and lie angles, I would have paid 3x if not 4x the price. Keep up the great videos! I really enjoy them. Honest and unbiased.
Just got mine delivered this morning. Can't wait to get out on the range and course with them! I went with a 6i-AW 699/4-5i 699u combo after visiting their facility and getting fitted.
Recently purchased a combo set myself. I got the 699u 3 iron, 4-6 639cb and 7-pw in the 639mb. Also bought an fx wedge. So far I am loving them and so glad I gave them a shot!! Having money let over after club shopping is always a good thing! Thanks for reviewing guys!!
I just got a set of 699 irons that were customized and other than being a fantastic and affordable set of clubs the brand is a great balance of mainstream quality without sacrificing the customer experience of a small business 10/10 would recommend 👍
just curious if you're still happy with your irons after a year of playing them?? I'm not doubting them at all, just looking for feedback after playing them a while. Most people are infatuated with new purchases, but sometimes that wears off. LOL
so glad you guys took a look at these guys. sub70 is something special. recently tested one of their hybrids and it was incredible. especially for the price. thanks for the review boys
Ordered my set last week. They shipped today and I’m pumped. Lance has been super helpful and I was blown away at how they feel when struck. Blasts off the face and felt much more consistent than my old P790 set.
I just built a full-custom set of 639 CB (4, 5, and 6 irons) and 639 MB (7 iron through PW) for a customer (Nippon Modus3 Tour 120 shafts, MOI matched set) and my customer is absolutely thrilled with them! They not only look great, but also perform tremendously well. My Sub 70 939X 21* hybrid is the “money” club in my bag, good for 198 to 215 yards off the tee of from both fairway and rough. I had been thinking of replacing my 5-iron, and the results that I have had with the 939X hybrid prompted me to contact Sub 70 and have them build me a custom 949X Pro #5 hybrid which should arrive in about a week.
This is the type of review I like to see; better players trying clubs that are meant to go into a lesser fortunate players bag and being honest about it.
I have played the 639 combo CB/MB for a year now. Great feeling irons, very soft feel when you hit it just right. You will not be disappointed. I just came across this video and I really agree with these guys about these clubs. I have the iron set, two hyrids, and 3W.
I ordered the 639mbs and 52/58 degree wedges from these guys a few weeks ago. Nothing but good things to say. Jason and Cody have been great to work with getting everything dialed in exactly how I wanted. Jason also came through clutch with an awesome recommendation on grips that ended up being perfect for my game. I have been playing the wedges for the last week and they are incredible clubs. I expect the MBs will be nothing short of spectacular (they were out of stock but I knew that when I ordered). I knew my specs and what I wanted for LLL and shafts but if you are unsure on any of this I would whole heatedly trust these guys to get you into a club that will fit your game wonderfully.
Intrigued by the company - Sub 70 - and the clubs and came to TXG to get their take. Impressive! Do either of these guys ever hit a ball off line?!?! Ian carries a 3 wood 255, about a yard off line to the middle of the green, Matty kind of shrugs "Yeah, that's nice". I'd be ecstatic. Well done gentlemen, as usual. No hype, just solid explanations, tests and reviews.
For future videos y’all should show the clubs from the address position and describe them in greater detail as it relates to shape, what you like/dislike etc. I know y’all did for the 699 but not the rest
I am currently playing the 699's with a 699 utility as well. They keep up with the i500 and others in the same category no problem at a fraction of the cost. During the ordering process the owner Jason reached out personally to make sure that I was happy and asked if I had any questions and to make sure the fit was good. The customer service was amazing. I would definitely give them a look.
I love hearing about direct to consumer brands like this, Hogan, Wishon Sterling irons, and now Sub 70. Excellent content, and I hope they cut you guys in on the bump in sales following this video! 😂
Thank you Sterling! We're grinding over here but we truly believe in what we're doing. It's been a blast and we truly appreciate all of the interest and support
Got my 639 CB/MB (4&5 CB, 6-PW MB) combo set couple weeks ago. Love them so far, they feel so good when you strike the ball. I gained about 10 yards of distance with the MB, compared to my previous Callaway Steelhead XR set. The customer service was one of the best I have ever dealt with as well. Highly recommend to anyone!
I’ve been playing the 699 Pros and 939x 4 hybrid for a few months now after choosing Sub70 over a $1200 set of new callaway Apex forged irons I was fit for. I’m an 8.5 hcp coming from mizuno MP64 irons. The 699 Pro feels just a good as my old mizunos but carry 12-15 yards longer for me, and distances are consistent. If you know your custom specs Sub70 will build the exact set you need. Best customer service and value I have found in golf equipment, by far. I think there’s a huge market for a company like Sub70. This company is a great option for folks like me who have been playing awhile but can’t justify paying for big brands, or also for the new golfer who also can’t justify big brands and maybe doesn’t know how to navigate the used market.
I have a full set from Sub70 from Driver down to Putter. I play the 699 pros and really like them. Great clubs at a great price. I did custom shafts across the board and came out cheaper than stock Callaway by a significant margin. As an example the Sub70 driver with custom shaft cost me $500, had I ordered the same shaft with Callaway over $800. Not sure about you guys but pretty sure the CEO of Callaway is not going to call you to check your order and go over every club choice with you before they put it together either. Or the thank you note from the club fitter when you get your order. Thats what you get with Sub70. Can't say enough about how great these guys are and the service they offer. Its what the golf industry should be, affordable with great customer service.
Thank you for your support Chris. That is awesome and we TRULY appreciate it. If you ever need anything you know you can contact us any time...nights, weekends or holidays included. Thank you!!!
I've just made the decision to go for a combo set of 699 4-5 and 699 pro. Love the Sub 70 brand, like others I reached out to Sub 70 through Instagram and spoke to Jason direct with some questions. Can't wait for the clubs to arrive in the UK! Looking forward to surprising my golf buddies!
Welcome to the Sub 70 party. I’ve been playing the 699’s from day one. Best decision I could have made for my game. Two kids, house, car payments etc. Nothing came close to beating them. Glad you did the review.
Sorry double cment checking out your swings today boys I'll tell ya absolutely love your takeaway what tempo I could never be that calm I'd hit myself in the head with that tempo !!! Good stuff as usual men!!! Ty
Great review 👍...I play the cb/mb combo 5 & 6, 7 - PW with Steelfiber shafts. I can honestly say there the best irons I've ever played...the custom options & the relationship you create with Jason and the rest of the crew at Sub 70 was outstanding...keep it up boys. I look forward to the upcoming videos.
Owner/Founder Jason Hiland personally fitted me with the Sub 70 699 Pro: Seven irons: 6 through SW and 5-hybrid. They look, sound, and play very well. The company is professional and provides excellent service and the clubs are a great value. I drove to the company from Chicago suburbs to Sycamore and the drive was worth it. They can also fit you remotely and their shipping cost is included in the price. I saw a few of their prototype putters which will soon be available and they too look and feel very good.
I have a friend who has a pro shop put me on to these, he bought a set ( first set he'd bought new assembled in 40 yrs ) shaft and lie all wrong for me I was blown away, just ripping them, feel as good as my Apex. I ordered a set of 699 irons Christmas Eve and I'll figure out the bend for the lie after they get here, I'm really looking forward to this present
I have the black MB/CB combo set and they are amazing. The customer service is just as good, and to be able to have multiple shaft and grip choices was great. They built them exactly to my specs. I went with their driving iron, and it is a beast off the tee. Saving money, but not sacrificing performance.
"I've never been right handed before, I've never had this many options". Alas the sad truth with lefties Matty. Great video guys, I liked the look of these and can't get past that price tag
Thank you Ryan! We are hoping to expand our LH offerings going forward. We've been working on the company for ~5 years but only selling clubs for 18 months or so. We came out with the LH 699 irons first since they are our most popular iron model. Hopefully we can offer some other products for the lefty nation soon. Thanks again!
@@golfsub70 I was going to say: I was just at the Sub70 site and only found 1 set of Irons for a Leftie. So I quit putting a bag together. Now that I see you're working on more for us then I'll check back in a few months.
Guys I’ve loved this video. Have you ever tested Orka clubs. A small independent U.K. company I’m having a fitting with soon. Sub70 have definitely given me food for thought. Great testing!
I've just recently sent back some demo 699's. They were slightly larger than what I'm accustomed to seeing, but I'm very interested in getting my hands on the 699 Pro's!
Thanks for checking out the 699s! The Pros should be slightly smaller from a profile and offset standpoint. The 639 CB could be an option as well...but I'd check out the Pros first and hopefully those fit your eye a bit better! Thanks again!
Sub 70 makes great stuff with great customer service. I play the 699 irons, pro 3 wood and hybrid. Couldn’t be happier. Get with the shafts you want, you can’t beat Sub 70.
I’ve got the black 699 Pros from a swap I made on a whim...I’m not exaggerating when I say I couldn’t be more impressed. The look was a shock right away, then on the course they just work. Being the club junkie that I am, I compared to the p770 coming out and I left with zero reason to change out for the 770. The only money I spent that day was ordering a 699 Pro 4-iron!
WOW I absolutely love your videos and I just found out you guys are in toronto. that is SO exciting. I'm going to be sure to come get fit for my first time at TXG!!
639 irons are forged and so are the wedges. 699 are cast. I play the hybrids and woods. They are awesome for the price. Nothing flashy but they get the job done.
Thanks Ryan! We definitely aren't going for flash and curb appeal (though we do think that they look great)...straight performance and ROI for the golfer.
I’ll try to keep it short and sweet but Jason Hiland is a top shelf, class act and loves golf just as much as we do. This review had his phone blowing up since 4am that day, lol. I did notice what Ian was saying about the 9 iron of the 699 Pro’s. Jason straight up told me to take my irons up north for our annual golf trip and if they don’t work out just give him a call and we’ll make it right. 👍👍
Interesting - Sub70 used to make a driver, the 839D. You can still see that they have one in stock in their pre-owned section. Wonder why it was discontinued. It was offered on their site just a few weeks ago when a looked. TXG - You mention that this is a good option for the budget minded consumer who doesn't want to give up any performance. Perhaps you can expand on that thought, why would I pay more if I'm not giving anything up? We're all budget-conscious at some level, so if I'm not losing anything, why would I pay more? Is there some difference out there we should be aware of? I'm semi-local and plan to head down to the Sub70 facility and likely get fit. Not exactly sure what I'll walk away with, but the temptation of new equipment is never ending.
as they are direct to consumer they are basically $3000 clubs that you get for $1500 because middle mens profits have been cut out. Many products are no better for more money just look at the PXGs. You are just paying extra to say you dont got these clubs. I would also think that with all the tech going into big companies drivers it may be the hardest club for them to design and keep up the level of performance of the big boys.
I went to get fit at the factory in late July. Ended up buying a set of 699s. Super great process for a free fitting and they weren’t trying hard to sell anything at all either. Great process and would highly recommend
Thanks Zach! We're in the final phases of testing for a new driver that we've been working on for the last 8-9 months. We're really excited about it and think it'll be a fantastic product that performs with anything else on the market. We decided to let the 839D driver phase out rather than restocking it, having people buy it, and then releasing a new driver shortly after. We think it's pretty disappointing when companies release new groundbreaking products 8-12 months after their latest revolutionary product comes out. Hopefully we'll be able to share more info on the new driver soon! Thanks again
After watching your vlog on the Sub 70 clubs, I decided to order a combo set of 699 and 699 Pro’s. I have been able to play 7 rounds with them. I have been playing the Ping G410 irons. I really liked the Sub 70’s because of their blade look. After hitting them, they are as long as my Pings, and almost as forgiving. I have a tendency to miss my shots towards the toe. The Sub 70’s still felt good off the toe. I have the KBS Tour 105 stiff shaft, no steps, and one degree upright. I did not see or feel much of any difference from my Ping. The folks at Sub 70 were awesome to work with. Clubs came in one week. I may not game them full time, but will mix them in for the blade feel. Thanks for the review. Would never have a looked at them otherwise.
I’ve had the opportunity to speak with the Sub70 team. I’d like to see more global exposure of the Sub70 product and your unbiased product, quality and performance opinion speaks highly of an emerging DTC company. 😀 Looking forward to to watching the Sub70 ‘Lefty -v- Righty’ shoot out🏌🏻♂️ Should be fun😀👍 Well done guys and good to see Ian spanking a ball or two🏌🏻♂️☑️
I’d love to see you guys take 2 mainstream brands that you believe are direct competition to both type of the Sub70’s (699 & CB/MB) and do a full comparison. Then at the end, give us the dollar comparisons and the final ball striking summary. I’m very intrigued in these guys as someone who doesn’t have $2k for a new set of irons, but wants the performance to keep improving my game. Thanks for all you guys do!

I have a 18 degree Sub70 hybrid and absolutely love it! Great height and so easy to hit.
Thanks David! Glad you hear you're enjoying the hybrid!
I had a fitting with them recently since I'm local. The 639s both CB and MB were every bit as good feeling and performing as any CB or MB I've ever used
Thank you! They are SOFT for sure...but hold well and can flight it as well as anything else out there
The owner of sub-70 is a great guy that cares about his clubs and business. I have purchased from his other companies for going on 20 years.
I think Jason is going to need a new factory after this!!!
We're definitely getting there!!! Thank you!
@@golfsub70 A lefty wing pehaps?
@@golfsub70 gonna call u guys when I'm ready
My thoughts exactly. Very glad I just got fitted and my irons actually arrived this morning.
No kidding
Totally like to see these not so popular golf company's getting see on a bigger stage.
They must be good Tony - I've never heard a single negative comment about them
I would love to see an 'off the shelf' 3k set vs 3k total spent on fitting and clubs, which performs better?
This is a great idea!
The fitted clubs would obviously perform better. No need to do a video on that
@@johnbones7691 Ian isn't cheep, full bag fitting is ~800 dollars, leaving only 2200 for the clubs. Thats a big difference
Big problem there
Matty does such a good job of maintaining the same swing and tempo from wedge to 5 iron
Super envious...
I'd love to see you guys do a comparison of the DTC irons, Hogan vs Sub 70 vs New Level. That would be a great video! I can't decide between the 3.
Just got a set of the 699 Pro Blacks! Can’t wait to take them out. As someone who’s played other high end brands and have a set of PTx Pro/ Icon Hogan combos, theses look as good as anything I’ve hit! Great review! Can’t wait to see the next video!
Glad you guys reviewed these! If you could compare directly to a p770 and a maltby that would be awesome!
Thank you Andrew! Truly appreciate your support
i have the cb's, wedges and hybrid. they are great clubs. great review. you guys put out some of the best review vids. thanks.
Thanks Bryan! Glad to hear you are enjoying the clubs. If you ever need anything please let us know!
Bought my 699 Pros back when they came out. Love them, and their customer service was top notch!
Awesome Anthony. That is great to hear. If you ever need anything please let us know!
Great work!
You guys are the kings of slow tempo backswing and hitting through the ball with so much power. I wish I could get there!
Thanks for the review! Been eyeing some sub70 irons but haven't seen too many youtubers doing a review on them. This helps.
Still liking them? Looking at these or the Haywood Signature irons
I have had mine for 3 months and absolutely love them I have the combo set CB,MB
Thank you Edward!
The Glasgow Ranger! Tickled my funny bone. It shows how much fun you two have even just banging out hits on the simulator.
Haha, I saw that, I'm a Celtic man myself, but still got a kick out of it.
Thanks Scotty! I'm glad you are enjoying the clubs and the buying experience. If you ever need anything just let me know!
Ian playing the butter fade with an 18 degree hybrid - wow
Wish I had that shot :(
Huge fan of the Sub70 brand. Haven't heard a single negative word about them or their products. Will be playing their raw wedges next season
Thanks Daniel! We're just doing our best everyday! If you ever have any questions or need anything please let us know
So grateful for this! I've been curious about Sub 70 for a while and after watching this I got a demo set ordered. So excited!
Been playing the 699s and love them. The wedges are great too.
Thanks Charles! That is great to hear. If you ever need anything please feel free to contact us any time
just bought a wedge from Sub 70 and I love it really nice feeling and of course all the spin I want
Thanks Jeff! That's great to hear. If you ever need anything let us know!
Really great review. Looking to get a set for my brother who is new to golf, might go with these! They look great
Nice review guys I've been waiting for a good in depth review of these irons.
Bought a set a month ago, top notch product at a fair price ! Can't wait for more lefthanded offerings !
Yes!!!! Ed is a Day One Homie!
There he is 👊✌️
Bought a hybrid from them earlier this year and think it has worked great for a 205-210yrd club and the price made the experiment well worth it.
Thanks Daryn! Glad to hear you are liking the hybrid!
Thanks Mike! That sounds like a great set...I might need to buy that for myself haha! If you ever need anything at all please contact us!
So what is the consensus on the 699 vs the Takoma 101s?
I have been considering these irons for some time and am leaning that way more now.
Thanks Terry! If you have any questions just let us know!
@@golfsub70 Definitely waiting on the CB/MB set to arrive in LH.
@@golfsub70 I was going to say:
I was just at the Sub70 site and only found 1 set of Irons for a Leftie.
Another great video boys! It's nice to see non-big box clubs that are comparable in performance compete as an alternative being more affordable.
That is awesome to hear. Thank you for the comment!
I've visited the guys over at sub70 at sycamore,il many times. All I can say is their customer service is top notch. Give 'em a shot guys
Thank you Archie!
WOW I absolutely love your videos and I just found out you guys are in toronto. that is SO exciting. I'm going to be sure to come get fit for my first time at TXG!!
Can you do more course vlogs. Enjoying the testing but really like to see you guys play.
Going to have to check into these guys! Thanks for the review
I went from every iteration of apex irons from 16-19 to the sub 70 699 sight unseen and it was the best choice I’ve ever made.
as they are direct to consumer they are basically $3000 clubs that you get for $1500 because middle mens profits have been cut out.
@@shanee9943 Thanks Shane! Glad to hear you're enjoying the 699 irons. They flat out perform!
I think a set of these may be perfect for me. I really want to return to the game and this is right in my price range.

Thanks Nick! If you need anything or have any questions please let us know!
Been wondering about these guys. Should be super interesting! Thanks TXG! Maybe they should send some to Al...
😀 Looking forward to to watching the Sub70 ‘Lefty -v- Righty’ shoot out🏌🏻♂️ Should be fun😀👍 Well done guys and good to see Ian spanking a ball or two🏌🏻♂️☑️
I've wondered how these perform, great review. Thanks guys
Been playing the 699 all year, love them.
I have been waiting for you guys to your hands these. i liked the video before even watching it.
The price is attractive. I wonder if you could take the 699 and bend them a little weak to get rid of the offset?
Absolutely. The 699 Pros have less offset anyway...but you could certainly bend the lofts a bit to effect offset
@@golfsub70 Wow thank you for the response! Do you have any idea about how many degrees would affect how much offset in mm?
I’d love to see you guys take 2 mainstream brands that you believe are direct competition to both type of the Sub70’s (699 & CB/MB) and do a full comparison. Then at the end, give us the dollar comparisons and the final ball striking summary. I’m very intrigued in these guys as someone who doesn’t have $2k for a new set of irons, but wants the performance to keep improving my game. Thanks for all you guys do!
Love the Foresight username Ian! 👏. Great video again boys
I checked their website and I do love the look of Sub70 639 Plus. Looking great from the top view.
I would have like to see a side by side size comparison of the 699’s and 699 pro. As always great review.
