Backstreet Boys & Nsync struggled with the 'teen pop' stigma even though they were clearly r&b groups. Only blacks were allowed to do hip-hop & r&b before JT & Eminem came along.
Me. He did make some impulsive mistakes when he was young, years ago. And he apologized. That wasn't for us to judge or accept. But he did apologize more than once. I love him. People learn through life, there's no certain age limit for that. But he didn't serve a way for janet or Britney for their certain "downfall", its the society and media who now bash him.❤️❤️❤️
@@annettebailey331 yes, he is a human, we all learn from the impulsive acts and words. And its nobody's business to obsess over or to demand an apology and then mock that apology.
Me. I am 21 years old sometimes I wonder that I missed the chance him to admire him back then. Like this interview maybe it came 2000 ? I was a baby or cry me river I was in toodler age . I am curious how MV came out and how the reaction was. If I would born early I would go trough the Thing he shared with Fans. And Concerts without Smartphones. Music production back then. I would admire him more then now I do. But I love him as an Artist. He is mutitalented. And best out best songwirters.
The title is purposely misleading for clickbait. He was not dissing the fact that he was in a… “boyband”. That would not have made any sense as he was in a male singing group and in 2000 Nsync were at their height. What he was talking about was how people were categorising Nsync’s music. He was saying that yes, they were young men in a group but for them, there was no such genre as “boyband music”. He wanted to make it clear that they were a male singing group and the genre they fitted into was POP/R&B NOT a genre called “boyband”. He found the “boy band” genre music term, as stupid.
The title is misleading. He says: Categorizing "boy band" as a style of music is stupid.
Except he said "boy band" as a style of music is stupid -- it's pop or R&B -- he didn't say boy bands are stupid
He said that boyband isn't a genre but pop and R&B are genres. He said it's stupid to call boyband a genre.
@@Lux_bxdiee exactly what I said, yes
Dude is a legend
Ever since the Nsync days I loved JT in particular, such a fan from a little kid I recognised his smart moves and talents. Never disappointed.
Twisting his words on the title for clicks. Down bad
And JT was and is the Michael Jordan of his field.
In the context Justin is saying it, he is absolutely right
