Davud, “kuya” is a Filipino way of a respectful way of addressing an older brother, while “ate” is for an older sister. But you can also use kuya or ate when addressing other people who you don’t know. Have a safe and pleasant exploration of our country.

I didn't expect to see you vlogging here in our country, Davud. I've been watching your vlogs in Bangladesh and I enjoyed most of it. Suggestions of places to go, if you're still in Manila, go to BGC, Ayala Avenue, McKinley Hill for the modern Manila. If you want like historic place, go to Binondo Chinatown (it is the oldest Chinatown in the world) and Intramuros. If you want like the local experience, go to Tondo, Manila. It is considered a slum area but I've seen a lot of vlogs there and they have a street food stall that you can try. For the Islands, Go to Palawan (Elnido, Port Borton, Coron and Balabac), Siargao (It is famous for its surfing spots - lot of backpackers and tourist), Boracay (though it is very commercialized islands, but it is still one of the most beautiful beaches and well developed in the Philippines. It has a great night life too - very touristy.) Bohol, Moalboal Cebu, Siquijor (probably one of the most underrated islands in the Philippines), Camiguin (same with Siquijor, but this place have a lots of volcanoes than towns.) But if you want a less touristy, not yet explored and discovered islands and beaches, there's a lot of it in the Philippines to choose from, all you have to do is research about the place. In Makati you can visit several museums but the most popular is the ayala museum known for their collections of Philippine archeological gold prior to spanish colonization. You can also visit Ayala triangle, greenbelt, ayala circuit, ayala avenue was dubbed as the wall street of Manila

Spoon used usually by your dominant hand to allow better scooping of rice and ulam(main or side dishes) and the fork on other hand used to push or guide the food into the spoon.😅 Sorry if that was confusingly worded😂 orrrr even more traditional, we use our hands. Dominant hand for food and the other hand usually stays clean so it's free to grab drinks and other things like your phone.* Welcome to the Philippines 🇵🇭 Try our local fast food like Jollibee, mang inasal with unli rice and also halo-halo dessert meaning mix-mix(a must try) is best over there at mang inasal in my opinion, then there's chow king too. When in cebu, lechon is their specialty - go to the famous restaurants known for the crispy skin and juicy succulent meat. Dishes you already mentioned are good to try! Additionally, there's bulalo (very famous beef soup) - best to try that in Tagaytay, one hour away from Manila over-looking Taal Volcano. There's also dishes like Kare-Kare, Palabok, and Sisig! BGC is a nice developed area in Manila, more than Makati I think. Also Venice Mall is very nice to see in Manila, and Eastwood city at night is highly recommended as well! Lots to do in main land before flying over to the islands😁 Have a wonderful time!
Also, if you want bus experience, About 5 hours will take you to the coolest temperature city of Baguio. Or if you want a sleeper bus experience, you can see the beautiful MAYON volcano in Albay, Philippines. Both can be traveled by bus from Manila

*Notice that for most of our dishes we use spoon and fork. Spoon used usually by your dominant hand to allow better scooping of rice and ulam(main or side dishes) and the fork on other hand used to push or guide the food into the spoon.😅 Sorry if that was confusingly worded😂 orrrr even more traditional, we use our hands. Dominant hand for food and the other hand usually stays clean so it's free to grab drinks and other things like your phone.*

Try our local fast food like Jollibee, mang inasal with unli rice and also halo-halo dessert meaning mix-mix(a must try) is best over there at mang inasal in my opinion, then there's chow king too. When in cebu, lechon is their specialty - go to the famous restaurants known for the crispy skin and juicy succulent meat.
Dishes you already mentioned are good to try! Additionally, there's bulalo (very famous beef soup) - best to try that in Tagaytay, one hour away from Manila over-looking Taal Volcano. There's also dishes like Kare-Kare, Palabok, and Sisig!
BGC is a nice developed area in Manila, more than Makati I think. Also Venice Mall is very nice to see in Manila, and Eastwood city at night is highly recommended as well! Lots to do in main land before flying over to the islands😁

Also, if you want bus experience, About 5 hours will take you to the coolest temperature city of Baguio.
Or if you want a sleeper bus experience, you can see the beautiful MAYON volcano in Albay, Philippines. Both can be traveled by bus from Manila
