Yes from day one with their 1st Album together I was Sunk! Great eye candy some might say ha what the heck but some greatest talents in the circuit together right here baby! Ever!
When they played “When the Levee Breaks” during this same tour at New Orleans Jazz Fest, there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd. The feeling was among the heaviest during a live show I’ve ever felt.
another addition to prog rock's sci-fi-ancient whatever midblowers covered by zep, tull, elp, yes, etc. What a time it was, yes, what a time it was...kids were geniuses! WOW
What you hear from the stage (as it is mic'd) is much better than a camera phone, which many others post. At least you get to hear the stage recording. I visualized the two on stage but the sound here is much better than camera posts.
I litteraly almost pooped em' when I saw them do this at the Greek theatre in Los Angles a couple years ago...probably my greatest concert moment ever....until 20 minutes later when they did "Black country woman" then I almost pooped em' more...lol
Did the same when they broke it out in Tahoe! Was going nuts standing on my seat…!!! Closest I’ll ever get to a Zeppelin show…!!! God!! What I would give for a time machine!!!
the children of war sang the songs of peace...the spirit of love grew on the wreck of europe like a flower in the wasteland of ignorance...the evil intent of heartless men passes like a flooding wave and inspired by direct vision children will lead the way
+kathleen ayala I wasn't aware of Krauss and Plant, until a couple of years ago. I was very much aware of both, separately! The combination is amazing!
How can anyone not care for AK? I would bet that if you listened to her with Union Station, you'd become a fan. Good bluegrass is one of the greatest things ever made.
its a song of loss...if u have been to Wales or Britain you will maybe a few who know...it is a lament for our hidden gods and goddesses ...once they walked amongst us...it is our lost religion
No she is not. Allion is about 1 million times a better singer than Sandy. Sandy voice fits this 1 particular song better since it was the original. But make NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT. Allison is one of the greatest voices if not the , of all time
I was there in tears with my best friends in the world. Father’s Day that year. Thanks for showing me Zeppelin, Dad.
I was there... what a beautiful moment in time and space to exist in
Thank you TH-cam for this popping up it’s beautiful they both sound so fabulous together
Amazing !!! Mr. Plant nailed it perfect even better than in 1977, and Mrs. Krauss sings like an angel. Epic !!!
What a great rendition.
Alison is just perfect for Sandy's part.
Fantastic-- straight from the mixing board live recording of Plant/Krauss!
This is just gorgeous, thanks 4 posting!!
Beuatiful. A perfect complementry duo. Shivers.
Only took 7 years for TH-cam to recomend this to me! I think their algorithm needs adjustments.
A proper rendition, FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE this SONG. Sing it myself, and I mean... FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes from day one with their 1st Album together I was Sunk! Great eye candy some might say ha what the heck but some greatest talents in the circuit together right here baby! Ever!
Beautiful sounds!

another addition to prog rock's sci-fi-ancient whatever midblowers covered by zep, tull, elp, yes, etc. What a time it was, yes, what a time it was...kids were geniuses! WOW
Bring it back
Wonderful duo from the Land of Rings.
Awesome very true to the original
Could be the quintessential melody of the mandolin. Love it.
Plant used to be the man in his day blonde curly hair and page was too.
Still THE MAN…!!! 2021!!! Can’t wait for the new tour!!!
so sweet!

@Finley Rayan yup, been using flixzone} for months myself :)
Did the same when they broke it out in Tahoe! Was going nuts standing on my seat…!!! Closest I’ll ever get to a Zeppelin show…!!! God!! What I would give for a time machine!!!
is it just me, or should Robert Plant be cast as Aslan in any upcoming Chronicles of Narnia movies?
Fucking awesome...
the children of war sang the songs of peace...the spirit of love grew on the wreck of europe like a flower in the wasteland of ignorance...the evil intent of heartless men passes like a flooding wave and inspired by direct vision children will lead the way
why was I not aware of this!
how old are you, I grew up with led zep
+kathleen ayala 36
+kathleen ayala I wasn't aware of Krauss and Plant, until a couple of years ago. I was very much aware of both, separately! The combination is amazing!
Agreed
I think Alison does fine on the female part.
I FUCKING MISSED THIS???? What the hell.
only one sandy...makes you cry no matter what she sung
love bonnaroooooooooooo
Heavy as Fuck!
Always have been a Led Zep fan....and although I don't care for Alison Krauss, This is better that the Original!!!!!
How can anyone not care for AK? I would bet that if you listened to her with Union Station, you'd become a fan. Good bluegrass is one of the greatest things ever made.

I really like this but Alison is not Sandy.
No she is not. Allion is about 1 million times a better singer than Sandy. Sandy voice fits this 1 particular song better since it was the original. But make NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT. Allison is one of the greatest voices if not the , of all time
RP looks more and more like Aqualung... AK looks (and sings) more and more like a goddess...
Sorely misses Sandy Denny.
Just too many years between these talents. No knowin' what equal time might have brought. Though this is good enough. And then some.
When Sandy sang "Dance to the dark night, sing to the morning light" on the original shivers ran down my spine, this does not happen with Allison.
This woman is the worst thing to ever happen to Plant. Took all of the life out of his songs.
Boooooo.....😠😠☹️
huh
i disagree plant looks like a modern reincarnation of gandalf and krause an elven maiden
Fashizzle.
no vid? thumb down.
Much rather see Alison sing this solo, Robert just holds her back, brings it down.
Dan Steely lol
+Dan Steely Pffffft. Ridiculous!!!!
Brian Craig Plant is far from the singer he once was and would be the first to admit it. Alison is a far, far better singer. Plain as day.
he isint young anymore dumbfuck she sure can't compare to sandy denny
+Dan Steely Interesting, since he said she actually taught him how to sing like this.
HEART does this better!
Motor City Man I can’t decide which one to prefer. They all nailed it.
i love how this creep cant play with jimmy, john and jason but performs with these people... all the time
