@@DW-ff4dz nah. Just want some dialogue from Maori stating what they believe the principles of the TOW to be. No ranting no raving no shouting dancing or singing.
Just an English rational logical statement so we can sideline the emotional tirades and faintly embarassing apologetics from for instance Willy Jackson.
There must be someone out there articulate enough in maoridom to set out a strong robust maori case from the TOW exactly what they believe it means and why we should pay attention to it.
No rudeness or bullying. Just respectfull well argued case please.
Most non maori New Zealanders just want to know what the lawyers have been interpreting and extending into law some unknown and it seems debatable language in the TOW. Let's get it all on the table so we can discuss what it means.
All the heated attempts to shut down any plenary conversation invites the conclusion thst there is grift or con going on. If the arguments are solid snd the case self evident what are the maori afraid of? A collective understanding for all New Zealand stakeholders is mandatory.

If Maori education is so good, why are there so many Maori kids not going to school, and unable to find work because they can't read or write properly.
Long before Maori schools were formed everyone regardelss of race was taught the same stuff at the same schools
That worked well in the past. so why the huge effort to change it.

How about New Zealand as a whole, unite together, this is what is dividing this Country, everyone has a chip on their shoulder and it is getting worse. I was born there and Pakeha's and Maori's got along but no, not now, I now live in Australia and we have the same issues here. Unite before it's too late, it is not us versus them, or them versus us. [Willie Jackson] “It seems ridiculous that we have a Māori economy worth $70 Billion and yet Maori still have far and away the worse statistics in health, education, housing and employment,” -- he went on to observe there was little sign of "trickle down" to help other members of iwi, or other iwi.
Me: it would seem those who have been successful don't want to fund that which won't succeed.
Perhaps the history of handouts, without enforced obligations to perform, have been a mistake and merely caused a cycle of dependence.
Clear, nationally recognised, levels of achievement are important to employers.

    Please fact check the speaker.
He’s been working in education he tells us….well look at him, listen to him, hear him speak, hear his choice of language, hear his muddled arguments, hear his lies, hear his responses, hear his delivery…and tell me honestly about the education system he’s been working in.More like
INDOCTRINATION system, lowered standards system,DEI system, woke virtue signalling system, weaponising Te Reo system, feed at the trough system ,high absenteeism system,no accountability system, failure system…that’s where he’s been working….stop at nothing, bold faced, pull the wool over your eyes in front of your face system…that’s where he’s emerged from.

Learning Te Aroha should definitely be encouraged, but forcing it? Nah. Math and writing, on the other hand, should be a must. How else are students going to land jobs if they can’t even do basic math or read a contract? Not everyone can live off OnlyFans or become a social media star!"

Simply because they won't be learning the stuff they need for tomorrow. 100% certainly will do well in Maori Tanga etc & that's great but to function in any sort of future you need good basic maths skills and to be able to string together enough words from memory to make a sentence in ENGLISH that makes sense & to be able to handwrite or print that on paper (type it on a device)... Without these basic skills you are going to be utterly phucked as an adult in the future!

Here is mate, These politicians or is it just The Notional party policies.
These politicians had been paid good money to solve these problems, but what they doing are analysing them, making it worse, than rather solve them problems as what they been paid to do as honest politicians representing the people

A wise old Maori man once said... if every time I went fishing I caught a lot of fish, I would go fishing a lot.
Who is the fool in this game. No and go away needs to be taught. Remember only the pakeha underestimate Maori. Maori were masters of finesse around stealing, it was almost revered as magic or an art form. Same game different century. Pakeha still haven’t got the joke yet.

I had a client bought up in Maori only schools, she couldn't speak enough English (kiwi or nz) and was isolated from all other people in the country she was born in and was dependant on her wider family to translate. How is this good or beneficial to anyone? Especially the students.
