I've been watching people try to explain music for years on youtube. As a non-musically-educated guitar hack...they always lose me part way through the video. They don't explain things in a way everyone can get something out of. This guy solves that problem. He gets detailed, but explains "why" as much as "how". That makes all the difference. At least it does for me. edit; by the way...I never knew what it meant technically, to play 'outside', but I knew it when I heard it. I just didn't know what it was.
My mrs used to work in an Italian restaurant where these crazy waiters used to run with plates of food , trip themselves up before landing the plates perfectly in front of you on the table. Quite a spectacle that the diners loved.
Great lesson man! Many of us need to learn how to play inside and stop shoving half whole dim into everything we can…please! I notice some people like you, Pat Methemey, Wayne Kramtz can make nonsense work because you resolve and you have your rhythm together. If it’s rhythmically happening it seems to work. But when I’m practicing quaternary notes at 40 bpm out sounds really out. I need to get this stuff and my rhythm together.
Sir! Another great video but there could be five follow-up videos to this one explaining each concept in detail. I think I’m like most people in the comments where we have a number of years under our belts, but now looking to expand into more jazzy, outside sounds. The ones who totally understand all the theory etc, are probably not the majority watching. The theory and musical notation is over my head, but I can totally dig the sound of each. I have started with outside playing and found your superimposition video the best I’ve seen in a while. Are you planning on making individual videos for the other concepts? Because if they’re like your superimposition one, it would be totally helpful. You are a killer player and very entertaining. I love videos that feature examples of what we’re going to learn at the beginning to set up the tone of the lesson and then show how to go from the ‘inside’ playing to ‘outside’ and then back to inside playing with tabs available. You are one of the best I’ve seen on TH-cam my friend. Your videos are getting better and better. Thank you 🙏
I need 5 examples of Lego shit sandwiches, STACKED. BTW, I LOVE Phil Minton... you've earned a sub. 5 examples of Lego shit sandwiches, STACKED. Please!
also you can just jam an old whole tone scale for a major/dorian vamp, super cheap, but it works cool and yes, sir, your lessons are the best, and your guitar is sexiest fucking strat on the planet
Really good concepts and demonstration of those. I like your work in general. But for this topic if i may make a suggestion, less scatology thrown in :) and maybe play each example once more just a tad slower would actually make the tutorial even better.
Excellent of course, but… I prefer less vidéo-montage ; to me ,your teaching is much better without funny action in your vidéo. Thank you anyway, and bravo !
I see everybody praising the production of this video. In my opinion, this is quite possibly the worst guitar video I've ever watched. The information is sound but the execution is horrible. If you need a meme or a joke every second perhaps you don't have the attention span to play guitar. Steaming shit sandwiches. His giant face in the camera over and over again. To me this type of thing doesn't drive the video forward towards its goal at all. Now before you go and get all mad just let a person think differently than you.
Dani is the best teacher ever
Yes that kind of production is it! Very good job I’m gonna forward this to everybody I know that’s what was missing! great….Very well done!
12/7 points for this upload. Bonus point for using the wilhelm scream too.
definitely one of the better guitar channels out there! Appreciate all the work you put in! Thanks bro!

Great video, and very funny too. Playing outside and resolve in a convincing way. Very good, loved this.
“Fk outside, don’t play outside. Play inside.” Dani Rabin 2019
Really really excellent!
Laughed my head off watching this video. That shit (-sandwich) was too funny!
Who ever is in charge of those back ground pics are doing a great job! Kenny G never plays a wrong note. He's a very inside man for an inside joke.

You should consider going out Patreon. More in depth vids and tabs for every video as well as group lessons every month
@@marbinmusic You've copped out providing tabs for them. Make them do it how you done it. 🤣
@@KonnorSt-Claire I am running a business bro
@@marbinmusic that's right! 👍🏻 Make those tabbers pay! 😂
Great stuff!
Love it!!
Tasty and informative, but I cant hear the backing chords, would be better if there were some sustaining chords or they were mixed louder.
Dewd you are a frikkin riot😂😊🎸🤟
