Viggo should have an Oscar. Just for his amazing work over 25 years. He made so many great movies and didn’t win anything. He’s captain Fantastic

My favorite bit starts at 31:00, when Viggo talks about what he and Mahershala Ali added to the film. He describes Ali's high standards of acting and his perfectly subtle reactions to Tony Lip's chatter. Viggo's impersonation of Ali making those reactions (starts 33:20) is delicious.

One of these introductions failed to mention a classic film by the Farrelly Brothers, a personal favorite of mine, Kingpin!

Viggo should’ve won an Oscar. He’s been passed up so many times. I was very upset with that BS.

A wonderful film - full of heart - just watched in my Covid-era spare time. But it’s distracting how the credits roll over the figures onstage. They should either wait until the credits finish or turn them off

@31:55 what Viggo is referencing there with Mahershala is when one master of his craft meets another master.

I LOVED this film. I have a question for anyone who's willing to answer: in one of the early moments in the film, Tony parks his car in front of his home and puts a trash bin upside down on something that looks like a parking meter machine or a sewage pipe.. (not sure what they are..don't live in the states..) why is he doing that??

    • @linzehang5052

jeehyeon kim it’s illegal to park in front of a fire hydrant, and one’s car might be towed away. Viggo’s character didn’t care, or was too tired so he simply tried to hide it with a trash bin.

@@linzehang5052 oh that's a fire hydrant! Kkkk that makes a total sense. Thank you so much!!

God created all different races and colors to test us for the love of each other. God is LOVE. God so loved the world, he gave his only son Jesus to die for our sins that whosoever believes in him will never die but have everlasting life in Heaven. Jesus is the Truth, the life and the way. The ONLY way to Heaven. If you know the Truth, it will set you free from the bondage of Satan. Satan kills steals and destroys. Satan is a Liar and Deceiver. Satan is filthy and nasty. Satan hates God and everybody else and wants to take everyone to Hell and torment them forever. Hell is a million times more terrifying than your worst NIGHTMARE. Read the book A Devine Revelation of Hell by Mary Baxter. It just might save you from eternal torment in Hell forever. God created Heaven and Hell. God created Heaven for all of us and wants to take everyone to Heaven. Question is. Where are YOU going after you die? You Choose.
