- We visit the Isle of Roatan, Honduras, Mahogany Bay on our day 5 of 7 days Western Caribbean Cruise on the newest Carnival Mardi Gras ship. We decided to take the BOSS underwater excursion because we heard a lot about it. Well, it is definitely one of favorite excursions ever. Hard to describe the experience and the thrill of riding one of those "scooter" underwater.

The sruba driver's are out of this world, they did a fantastic job.
This looks fun. I have this booked for next week. My only thing is i can not open my eyes under water, so I'll be feeling my way to the helmet under water lol
@@brianpickens8520 that should be fine. A guide will help you get in
Ooohhh Nice, I'm from honduras 🇭🇳
Best tour on Honduras roatan
Thank you
It looks fun.
yes. we had a blast
How does it work if you wear glasses? Does your glasses get wet before you start?
I wouldnt wear glasses because you have to dip your head into the water to get in. You could have one of the tour people hold the glasses for you and give to you when you get in.
How much is cost ???
Question, do you have to know how to swim to participate?
Not at all.
sorry you did not understand the passport thing, its is for when you get stuck on a island or port
They recommend you bring passport with you just in case they ask for it to get back on the ship or get left behind. I always bring with me when I am at ports just to be safe.
Does your hair get fully wet?
Yes because you have to get into it in the beginning
I just purchased this BOSS excursion in st Thomas for our cruise in March 2023. Are u able to talk to other ppl while in it or no? Also, I'm not a strong swimmer, who kind of panics underwater, you don't feel panicky when you're in it do u? How far do u have to swim down to get in it? Sorry for all the questions! I'm just nervous haha
Hi Megan you can talk but no one can hear you well. We mostly do hands gesture to each other. You don’t need to be strong swimmer at all. You just get into the water and someone will help you. Once you’re inside you will feel awesome. It’s very cool actually. It’s better than snorkeling for sure. It’s like scuba diving without knowing how to do it.
@@DavidGQTravel thank u!! I'm nervous but excited 😁
