I was done with TFs for like 8 years and then Siege came along and blew my mind. Standardized articulation, cool fake vehicle modes (fake vehicles are the only TFs I enjoy, blame Armada), blast effects, and WEAPONIZERS. Those weaponizers shook me man, perfect toys that made me want to collect again.
This line was so good. It brought me back into the mainline and really changed the game for hasbro releases. My favorite of the line was the seeker mold, it’s aesthetics were just great and so was the articulation. It’s still the best Starscream we’ve gotten in a voyager pricepoint and the premium finish release is my definitive screamer. Sad the Earthrise mold couldn’t hold up to the quality of what siege gave us.
I’ve got Spinister… He’s beautiful… Also an absolute badass in the show. I feel like he stole the few scenes he was in with that amazing voice. Heck, he even came back from the dead to keep impressing everyone! A bit of a shame Jetfire isn’t on this list, I thought his figure was pretty amazing.
Seeing Spinister animated on screen was one of the few positives about the show to me. Would have been great to see more of him and Flywheels(skytread) actually transform. I never got Jetfire I only stuck to the figures I actually own.
Love the images you chose for the numbers in your countdown. Interesting choices but I needed to drop my 2¢ here. Apeface was my favorite because he was the first big Transformer I got as a kid. I also got the Earthrise Snapdragon but that was more to honor the Horrorcon legacy. But Apeface was the transformer toy I loved all my life and still have today. So when I saw there was a Siege updated form, I had to have it. Along with a great update so there wasn't all the extra hanging off him everywhere. I liked all the new peg holes so I could finally put his shield on his forearm rather than his upper arm. And with the Headmaster gimmick still going strong I swapped heads with the Titan's Return Apeface. The TR head was what I always wanted him to look like, threating and scary. The head he had in G1 and Siege always made his helmet look like it had a perm. But The War for Cybertron Trilogy really did give us a lot of great updates to classic G1 character toys, even if the show was hot garbage.
Thank you. I skipped Apeface cause I didn't like the soapy looking plastic. In retrospect I wish I had gotten him and snapdragon. But I'm glad others enjoyed them.
I don't doubt they are good figures but I never bought them. I didn't like the design of Seige Optimus as I felt it was too close to his earth mode. I understand people like it though. Jetfire I chose to skip as I was picking and choosing figures based on finances at the time and I didn't have much of an affinity for the character to justify the commander class for him.
@@TTMMH42it's the same for me in legacy evolution , I'm in the middle of moving and with the prices on everything going up , I'm having to be careful with my budget so my hobby is definitely not my top priority right now . Don't get me wrong I'm still collecting but keeping yourself fed and keeping a roof over your head is more important .
So, two questions. 1. Which version of the Impactor mold would you say is your favorite? 2. What are all the extra parts you used on Sideswipe, and where might one find them?
My favorite version of impactor is the Wreckers version. The upgrade parts are the Nonnef Productions upgrade kit. Not sure if it's still available anymore. The stickers are from ToyHax
That’s always a bummer. Hasbros Distribution to other countries in the world has been absolutely awful the past 5 years, making it hard to get a hold of figures. Xx
I actually didn't bother with him. I didn't like that he looked so much like earthmode Optimus in both modes. He was a flat nose truck with some space bits thrown on him. I prefer the cybertronian mode to look more alien. Like War within or the WFC video game did.
Nice list definitely quiet a few that really don't get mention on other top tens but for me I would have to say my favorite top ten figures for siege have to be 1 Omega Supreme 2 Jetfire / Skyfire 3 Powerdasher Zetar he be goid robot boi 4 35th Anniversary Optimus Prime 5 the seeker molds there just that good 6 Red Alert 7 Ultra Magnus 8 Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime 9 Soundwave 10 Shockwave And those are my top ten favorite from siege now on to your earthrise top ten .
@@TTMMH42 yeah no kidding the only reason , I even have any titan figures is because that's what I asked for my parents for Christmas or from the Christmas money I received during the holidays and now there all in storage at least until my new mobile home is set up .
I did not get him. I heard good things but at the time of his release i wasn't interested in spending that much money on a character that wasn't a huge deal to me. I did consider the shattered glass version later but I have yet to go for a Commander class Jetfire in any form.

This toyline was great! Unfortunately I never have figure from Siege. Great top. My personal favourite is Optimus Prime.
